The fight was improvised after the Golovkin-Eubank negotiations stalled. Kell took the sweet deal, payday at home and eat more during preparations. Now, the consequences.

To actually go in there aiming to be the bigger man, when he needed to be lean and fast and get out of the way of shots. To stay on the ropes against of all opponents, Golovkin.

Has Kell really becomes folk hero for the week, because he landed good shots early in the fight? That's what he was supposed to do, minimum.

Now he's out injured yet again. He's too big to get back down to 147 where he holds a title (a title he went to America to win).

HBO power brokers may have said to Eddie's face, yeah , agreed, we need to get Kell in the big mix. But we will see if that is delivered on. Because the winner gets in the big mix first.
Whilst much of that is true, Brook will have made enough from Saturday night to never have to worry about money again, so he might not even be too bothered about his injury.

Also, it's all very well saying the 'minimum' Brook was supposed to do was land some good shots early, but seasoned middleweights like Geale/Macklin/Rubio etc didn't manage it.
true, I just hate to see the career go down the drain, never pick up again after one big payday.

Brook was weighing in at 154 when he was 20 years old. Haters gonna hate.
I don't hate anyone.

I'm aBrook supporter and buy tickets to see him fight.

It was a dumb decision made hastily to fight Golovkin without looking at the bigger picture.

Boxing is already messed up, the wrong people all fighting each other.

Always tempting to take the sweet deal - take off less weight, fight at home, bigger payday - but there's a price to pay and Britain's most injured is out again.

Look mate, you have to give fighters credit for fighting the best. That is what we want to see.

Brook had a go. He thought he could win as did quite a few. And Brook might actually be a force at 160 if he decides to stay there.

GGG is just that good.

Yeah, it's not like anyone at 160 has really done that well against GGG is it? At least brook gave it a go. He could probably have backpedalled, picked and poked, and lasted quite a bit longer, by basically running away.

Kell had muscles at 15 and was at light-middle in his 2nd and 3rd fights at 18.

It's a shame this has been brought up 6 years after it was thrown out of Court.

Sorry, I thought he got done for it. Why did Fwank have to write to the court if it got dropped?

No shit he fought the best. Way above his weight. And what I'm saying is, this was not a well planned, well thought out challenge.

The wrong match ups are constantly being made.

What a shame Froch didn't hang around and give GGG a genuine "big drama show."
