Andy Ruiz Jr. only chose to withdraw from the Hughie Fury bout, because he preferred to challenge for the vacant WBO world heavyweight title instead against Joseph Parker.

It wasn't a secret, this forum was talking about this situation in detail several weeks prior to the WBO officially sanctioning the Ruiz Jr.-Parker world heavyweight championship bout.

Actually you're absolutely right! Wasn't the original Klitchko - Fury fight put back while Klitchko attended to a calf injury?
