Kovalev will laugh last if this fight sells. I don't think it will and ward is smart for taking the flat fee, but sergey has upside. He's not being used at all. Hes a fighter that wants to fight, very fair money. Main events can't be blamed because boxing is a tax write off for Jay z.

I think that the numbers might surprise, relatively. I have had casuals querying me about this fight for a couple of weeks. They have been hammering the tv ads pretty heavy.

He's a fighter who does what he is told.

These money people trick college educated people in the system. All the time.
They lie on such huge levels it's actually amazing to study.

Why oh why then do we try to discuss business done with boxers as a fair enterprise?
You have to know that 99.999% of fighters all-time get screwed (in terms of what they earned and what they get).

Mayweather and Manny were selling neck and neck at one point and Floyd was making twice as much.
What was Arum doing so well for Manny that GBP wasn't doing for Floyd?

Promoters have a number THEY want to make. That's what matters more than anything.

 boxers at the top are very overpaid. Good for them, but it's the biggest reason the sport is shit.

You constantly make this claim, and I understand where you coming from but I disagree. These men put their lives on the line. They dedicate their lives to training in order to make it. They deserve what they can negotiate.

Even though it's a career-high payday for Sergey, he still took short money just so he could kick Andre's ass.
