There are certainly some interesting match ups at 154lbs

Who promotes Lara, Andrade and the Charlos?

Between those 4 and Canelo, there are some good fights to be made and I should imagine with them all being based in America and having a solid profile there, there would be money in any potential match up between the 5.

Im sure he became mandatory for one of the Charlo twins belts. There was supposed to be a match with someone else.. he is good but i wouldnt say avoided. The people behind him need to be sacked! They are ruinning his career. He has the potential to be the number 1 guy at 154.

The main reason Andrade is so avoided is because he's avoiding everyone else and claiming that they're avoiding him. That's just Claiming To Be Avoided 101. Fighters who truly want big fights will get big fights.

I think it has more to do with his crappy promoters and management. its never shocking when a talented slick boxer with decent power and ring iq is avoided nowadays. I pretty much expect it.

This can't just be put on promoters and management. Andrade obviously is not very interested in staying busy or he would demand fights. He has fought three fights since the end of 2013; Brian Rose in 2014, Pucheta in 2015, and Willie Nelson in June of 2016. He still has nothing on the schedule for 2017.

Andrade is essentially a part time, semi pro boxer at this point, in my view. He and his team have largely wasted three of his prime years.

Every single Boxrec top 15 boxer in the 154 division has had from 5 to 9 fights in the same period that Andrade has had three. There is no excuse for that kind of activity at that time in a legitimately professional boxers career. He has been sitting on his ass waiting to get paid while others have been doing the hard work.

Andrade needs to fight, anyone and everyone.

Poor political connections / dangerous / hard to beat / obscure persona / low profile = ripe to duck
