The last/only time I've seen this fight was on BBC Grandstand a few days after the fight.
Has anyone seen it since - or has a recording of the fight?

most likely a causulity of the "Great Wiping" by the brain trusts of the BBC back in the early 1970's.

Sadly not. I've heard a lot about the fight and that how Michael Winner, Sean Connery and Stanley Baker were in the crowd and had to duck for cover when it all kicked off.

I wonder if we have any Italian boxing fans on this website. Although the BBC covered the fight, I'd be amazed if the Italian TV stations didn't broadcast it ?
