Make PEDvetkin v Briggs immediately, while they're hot.

Povetkin had a microscopic trace of something that was not a steroid and was legal a few months before.

Briggs has "dramatically elevated levels of testosterone". And he's an American, so VADA has no political agenda against him.

Hardly surprising is it, he's clearly been juiced to the gills for many years now.

I'm annoyed because the people that were saying Briggs has a shot against the bigger names in the division won't get to see that he couldn't even beat Fres Oquendo.

The end of an illustrious career that enjoyed a golden period from 2014 until 2016. :TU:

Anyone up for a bout between Alexander Ustinov and Fres Oquendo? :-?

He's been after a big payday, I'm not surprised. He looked juiced vs Vitali

Luis Ortiz should get it. He's not been seen since December. Give AJ a decent seller after Wlad 2.

Fres Oquendo would have won because champions are generally fighters who can compete for more than 2 rounds.

You still have to survive the first two or three rounds, and against Briggs that's beyond a lot of heavyweights if his last outing was anything to go by. I did think what fantastic condition he appeared to be in for a man of his age, so I'm disappointed but not all that surprised.

Briggs fought a nobody last fight, and has only beaten nobodies over the last decade

Ever thought that he's fought shit, because he realizes how vulnerable he is against anyone with a pulse? Oquendo has been a reasonably durable fighter, and him nearly beating Chagaev is far more impressive than anything Briggs has done since 2006. I think Fres had a great chance of outlasting and beating the asthmatic...

Would you also be "not all that surprised" to find out Santa Claus is a myth?

Is PEDvetkin v Povetkin still on for July 8? Maybe Povetkin wouldn't mind stepping aside for Briggs under the circumstances.

I struggle to believe it, what kind of value does he have? What does Wilder have and what do normal people have?

The key word is appeared.

Appearance vs reality.

Again Dan Rafael, again a boxer Wilder is scared for, again vada, again a titlefight, I don't see the link yet, but something odd is going on. Briggs has always had a lot of testosteron, you don't need to be a wizard to see that.
