My only issue were the guys who'd cry brook hasn't beaten anyone prior to this fight. It was a flawed arguement. I didn't see anyone say brook hasn't beaten anyone.

There were plenty of posts! Look up posts under my name I've gone against that topic trust me.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I didn't see anyone say brook hasn't beaten anyone.
My stance on it all was if someone thought spence was going to win no problems, but to cite that brook hadn't fought anyone as the reason was flawed logic.

OK, he was the prospect, promising fighter, right now - he is a genuine champion, in the near future he could be the great champion.Ossyrules wrote:It's hype. He had hype for sure, but backed it up
FMJ has been speaking about Spence's great potential, but I don't consider this as hype.

Some where questioning he only has one good win and hasn't won a meaningful fight since 2014.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I didn't see anyone say brook hasn't beaten anyone.

The worst thing about Brook and his fans is an attempt to change reality speaking about match against GGG.
Frankly speaking, Golovkin had toyed with Brook, and literally had broken his face.
Anyway, Brook is a very decent fighter, but Spence is a level above him.

I had big worries for brook but I'll confess I picked him to win. The fight was a 50-50, but as a brook fan, I sided with him hoping that the home advantage and experience could be enough to impose his will on spence.world ranked wrote:So who did you pick and why did you pick them?Ossyrules wrote:My only issue were the guys who'd cry brook hasn't beaten anyone prior to this fight. It was basically that and hoping that the eye injury from golovkin held up and doing the weight didn't effect him, that everything came good for brook on the night
On the other hand there was spence who was wrecking everything along the way. A daunting fighter really, and not the favourite in England for no reason. I actually had visions prior to the fight that spence might take him out much earlier than he did and the whole thing was a bit of an anti climax.
So long story short I didn't have a completely confident pick but was rooting big for brook. Spence was the man though he gets my full respect. Seems the type of fighter that if you're going to beat him, you're gonna really have to fight him for sure. I saw ways brook could have won the fight but it wasn't his night the better man won

Sure, I've rated brook for years. I just didn't see anyone say brook hasn't beaten anyone. If if he hadn't, the ggg fight showed plenty. Likely people already on my ignore list.world ranked wrote:Yeah but that is good enough to be a top 5 WW before this fight.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:That was true.world ranked wrote:

Spence is very good but I think Crawford is better. When they do meet I have no doubts that Crawford will school him.

Sorry, but I'd say, link or it didn't happen, I'm not following the lower weightleages, so I have no clue if he was any good in the past.
Somehow I said similar things about Anthony Joshua and that happened as well.

I prefer HW, of course, but WW division is becoming very, very hot.asdfjkl wrote:Sorry, but I'd say, link or it didn't happen, I'm not following the lower weightleages, so I have no clue if he was any good in the past.

Believe me, I felt/said/wrote the similar things about Joshua (and Usyk).
