Like most people, I am bored of the whole situation (not to mention a little suspicious about the UKAD issue).

Peter was on Talksport this morning and mentioned about certain people who hang around that don't have his best interests at heart.

For me though, his biggest problem is his fitness and sheer size - he must weigh 30 stone.

I just cannot see him getting rid of 10 stone and the level of fitness required to box again.

well put, its a shame though as I do enjoy his antics but its very boring now, he has done this so many times. Do I believe he will stay retired, absolutely not. Mainly because he will be bankrupt in a few years. No sponsors or Tv channels want anything to do with him. He will be back and when he is he will get sadly, beaten easily.

I know a guy who went to Denmark for the Lowe fight, about 20 of them, all travellers, plenty of cash and whatever else, all in their 20's. Tyson ended up with them all weekend, never mentioned boxing once and had the time of his life. The lads weren't sent to corrupt Tyson, he chooses to do whatever.

That's what I like about the guy, a proper maverick, bit of a tit at times but certainly an interesting character.

I just don't see him ever getting near to what he was - he needs to lose a shed load of weight, get ring time to get his timing etc back, keep himself focused, disciplined and mentally right, all while there would be a clamour to get him in with AJ as soon as possible. Just don't see it happening.

The VADA issue seems to be dragging on forever - he's either guilty or not - can't surely be 3-4 months to determine that.

The longer he's out and the heavier he gets the more likely is he'll never get to that level again.

Hughie hasn't fought since April last year.

The details of the drug testing are sketchy at best, from all parties.

Is it possible that Hughie got an 18 month ban and has been seeing this out on the quiet?

If I remember correctly, Tyson did not actually take a test but instead told the testers to fook off - and that is why his case is dragging on.

Manchester United made over a 100m in their last match against Ajax and their players did something similar as Tyson Fury. They get a 10.000 euro fine in total, while Tyson Fury isn't allowed to box any more. Sounds to me like quite some difference.
