He's not the real deal, I've seen him in kickboxing, he lost twice against Mirko Filipović lol.
But still, you don't really have to be a somebody in boxing nowadays, with a bit of luck, or a lot of politics, it's easy to avoid the best boxers on the planet, who simply will never get the possibility to become a champion.
Do you think Wilder would ever fight Ortiz? Ofcourse not lol, perhaps if Ortiz is over a 100 year old, but that's really it. Ortiz will only get abused by silly guys, who act like they want to fight him, but in the end guys like Wilder will just fight another bum like Stiverne for example.
Let us wait several hours, only.....

Oh, I even expect him to walk all over Washington actually, but I think the kickboxworld is simply much higher skilled as the boxingworld. Miller is just another example of that, all kickboxers who become boxers are succesful, especially heavyweights.

Miller looked like he was fighting in slow motion, yet he still easily walked down and stopped Washington. Washington did well in the first, but wasn't in the fight after that.

The Klitschko's, Povetkin, Spong, Whyte, Miller, all kickboxers.
Tyson Fury also always trained with kickboxers like Rico Verhoeven for example.
Boxers almost always lose against such guys.

He was terrible. If that is the future of the American heavy weight division, then it's a pretty grim future.
Slow, inaccurate, plodding, poor defence, low work rate. And not using more than arms and shoulders in his punches, with thighs like he has, that's a crime.

Me too.
After watching it, I could see Whyte cleaning up Miller in under 4 rounds and Breazeale in under 8.
Washington basically gassed out in 3 rounds and apart from the odd flurry, pretty much stopped punching for the remainder of the fight. And still Miller couldn't get him out of there.
Washington isn't much of a puncher, anyone else landing repeated right hooks to Miller's ear like Washington was would have dropped him in the first or second round :salut:

I think he'd go more than 4 with Whyte. Even Lewison made it through 10...

I thought it was a pretty terrible fight between two guys without a future in the sport.

Exactly my point. I would rate Adam baby face above Miller if you want a US perspective ?

I'd like Izuagbe Ugonoh to be involved sgain. Yes, he has one unexpected defeat, but he can grow over that. His carreer seems to be stuck at this point. I'd even like to see him against Dillian Whyte for example soon.

Ugonoh doesn't even have any wins. His best scalp, Ricardo Humberto Ramirez, is not even a scalp, it's just a no-name. Ugonoh needs to get a win against someone like Chazz Witherspoon, Joey Abell, or Travis Kauffman to even be fit to serve as a stepping stone for a top 50 heavyweight. If he beats Chazz Witherspoon, then he can move-on to someone like Gerald Washington or Amir Mansour.

Also, I don't know how that was an "unexpected" defeat. He had a boxrec rating of 49, Breazeale had a rating of 89. Ugonoh was the obvious underdog, and he got beat, which was extremely expected.

Izuagbe Ugono is ranked 58 himself, he´s young, seems in shape and had a very exiting fight with Breazeale, who´s currently rank 12 boxrec.
Breazeale was very very lucky to win against Amir Mansour, Izuagbe is taller, younger, and seemed to be in better shape at the time as Mansour and was ahead on all scorecards when he got KOed. Izuagbe might have had a lower rank, but that certainly doesn´t say the whole story, Charles Martin has a much higher rank as Duhaupas, Takam, Miller, Whyte, name them as well.

Nevertheless I´d also like to see him against Witherspoon or Joey Abell, but he just should get a fight again, I have the feeling he could still become a rank 20 ish boxer.

All I learned from this fight is that Miller is currently the new world champion off the Homer Simpson defense.

That was like looking two Miller fights at once. The first and the last all wrapped in one

Seemed as though Miller could have gotten him out of there earlier if he had wanted to.

Miller can pace himself that's for sure and he does have good power. His defense leaves a bit to be desired.
