Was there ever a myth? Anyway, he’s still undefeated against women.

Just a fair few posters saying he was a murderous puncher he would smash X,Y,Z when he looks average against an English level middleweight and went he distance against a light middleweight who lost to Jimmy Kelly.

Hearn was talking about Cox having huge power, but that's just what Hearn says.

Cox was technically awful, squared up throwing shots, never threw the back hand straight, head up no head
movement, walked straight in.... to be fair to his corner at least they tried telling him not to do the above but heirher won't or can't listen.

I caught up with this on YouTube, Cox looked levels below Groves as expected, I think he struggles to win a Lonsdale belt at SMW let alone being fringe world class. He was never in the fight in my opinion...

Was Cox yet another so called ‘white Nigel Benn’ according to Hearn?

Where I was sitting, nobody saw the punch. Everyone was watching the crowd trouble kick off, the plums.

Other than that, which seems to be inevitable at larger cards, Sauerland put on a fking good show last night. Chuffed for John Ryder, he's put himself back in a good position with that win.

Cox didn't land very much on Groves at all, and you could see from round one that he was wide open to counters i.e. a matter of time before he got knocked out. It's a cheesy old saying, but it's entirely appropriate here - levels.

Cox was game but obviously out of his depth. Groves got serious about busting him up after Cox landed a couple of good shots early in round 3. Groves just manhandled him from there and heavily invested in the body from around mid 3 on, really digging hard.

I think that Eubank Jr has a legit shot at defeating Groves.

I thought Cox gave it a really good go and I don't think Groves looks at all comfortable under pressure. Cox did catch Groves with some decent punches, Groves face had the marks to prove it. I fancy Eubank to beat Groves but Eubank is still largely untested.

Shame Cox can't make middleweight because he looks too small for 12 stone. But he was vicious last night and game, though maybe too keen and reckless but then again he was never going to out jab Groves. I would fancy Cox to wipe out Rocky Fielding. Would love to see that fight next.

ya mate, with all those great stoppages cox has against solid fighters youd expect him to wipe out fielding.

oh wait, he couldnt even come close to stopping or even dropping an english level middleweight two fights ago. and he lasted a grand 3.5 rounds when he finally boxed someone good. and hes won a huge 13 of his 25 fights by stoppage, mostly over the ferenc alberts of the world.

i guess the cult of cox continues

It's the same with David Price and David Haye.

Evidence doesn't matter.

Proper c*nts trick of them grabbing that still as bait. Know why they do it for hits but they are making a monkey of Kalle Imo.

He reminds me of some of the blokes I knew growing up that were "good looking" and got "good looking" girls: thick and violent.

He's a nasty piece of work. There's some kind of poetic justice in his one sided beat down by a boxer that was nicknamed early on as 'ugly kid'.
