Great heart and chin shown by Lipinets. Most everyone here picked Garcia by KO but Sergei has a cast-iron jaw!!

Lipinets took a bad beating... He'll be a diminished fighter I believe.. He needs to learn English and begin planning his career after Boxing.. This is the problem for boxers who win World Titles when they have extremely limited experience... They become an attractive target for elite fighters who are looking to add World Titles or names to their resume... Davey Moore, David Reid, Saensak Muangsurin. Michael Bentt, Leon Spinks, Jeff Horn, Chris Algieri etc...

They might not get hurt, but there's a good chance they will because their skill level doesn't match their professional standing. Conventional wisdom is you take a Title Fight as soon you can get it.... It's better to round out your skills.

I don't really care what the score was, Nobody should sustain that kind of punishment during a fight... Lipinets' face was brutalized, raw, and swollen... He's obviously taken heavy punishment in previous fights. His face is a little meshed and he has limited experience as both an amateur and professional boxer... He has a lot of technical issues that I doubt he'll overcome at this point... He made a substantial amount of money in this fight and he should start planning his exit.

The outcome was just as expected. However, Lipinets showed heart and good chin. Garcia established his dominance with those 1-2 combinations early and it seemed, that the stoppage is very possible. The knock down was another mark of that, but Lipinets showed even more effort after. Good fight.

Bro we're in Kalan-world. Just because you didn't see it, just because it didn't actually happen, doesn't mean it didn't happen, ok? Remember you're dealing with someone who has utmost confidence basketball player Wilt Chamberlain would have smashed Muhammad Ali. We're through the looking glass here, people.

He already said, he feels much better 135.. It's his ideal weight.. Even though he dropped Lipinets tonight. That was a clean punch that landed..

Garcia can stop majority of the guys at 135.. He's not even 30 yet..

I think Garcia eventually moves up to 140 full time in 2 years..

Garcia is arguably the best around today.
