Massive respect to Warrington, completely surprised me with that performance. I am delighted for him.

On the other hand, I was truly surprised how easy Selby was hit and it seems he is dead at the weight. But in saying that Warrington battered Selby and made him pay. Great fight, very enthralling.

Would be great if Warrington could develop some punching power from somewhere to match his fantastic engine.

I think Frampton destroys him next if they go at it though.

I wouldn't mind seeing Warrington v Quigg either if Frampton isn't a goer.
Frampton wouldn't destroy him.

I think Warrington might pick up another big win if they fought.
Frampton does him. Perhaps 'destroys' was the wrong choice of word but Frampton certainly beats him.
Frampton folds warrington like a deck chair, warrington is good but about 2 levels below frampton imo. If they fight you will see frampton stop him.

It's already as if Saturday never happened :-?

Surely now it's clear to see that Warrington isn't an easy night for anyone in the division - he showed great counterpunching skills, the ability to box to a game plan, physical strength against a guy probably a stone bigger than him in the ring, a decent chin, quality footwork, and an engine+intensity that gives anyone at his weight complete nightmares imo.
Let alone Frampton who isn't the biggest physically at the weight and likes things at his own range+pace. He'd have fits with Warrington up in his grill for 3 mins of every round imo.

Great pick em fight if it happens

While I expected Selby to win a non-stop swarmer like Warrington was always going to be a hard night for a finesse boxer.

Josh got the range right and when Selby did land flush he shook it off. But it was no walk-over. Without the cuts Selby it's not inconceivable that Selby wins a couple more rounds and takes the fight.

Frampton hasn't looked as good in his last couple of fights though and seems to struggle in the stretch. If Warrington has the work rate he had against selby it could be a hard night for Framptonc

See how Frampton looks next time out, Warrington is not to be under estimated now.

Yes i agree he will give frampton a hard time till frampton finds his range and then frampton will take over. Warrington is a good boxer reminds me abit of a paul ingle or wayne mcCullough, non stop action, when ypur as busy as guys like these you dont need k.o power cause the volume of punches will wear their opponent down. Frampton vs Warrington will be a great fight btw

Warrington is in a great position now and fair play to him. He has been well matched through the levels, has improved a lot in recent years and sells tickets. He's also Inna stacked division so he has all manner of options for fights.

He looked great on Saturday, many had him going in outgunned and expecting him to be outboxed by a slicker fighter but Warrington fought an excellent gameplay, outworked Selby but also.outboxed him, he was picking his shots way better, had his range set perfectly and never gave Selby a chance to work his way back in once he was away on the cards.

He isn't a big puncher but he's going to problematic for most boxers he fights, great division where he probs wins a few and loses a few at the top but throw him in with Frampton, Santa Cruz, Mares, Russell Jnr, Diaz, Quigg, Valdez, Donaire and you have a quality fight. I'd watch any of those happily so he's not gonna struggle for big fights.
