Khomitsky was Golovkined in 2007 and then stopped by Khurtsidze. He himself has a good pop and stopped a couple of A-side Englishmen. He is 43 though.

He gave Murray a tough fight too.
Murray didn't win those fights. Blackwell didn't deserve a draw. Stieglitz was a robbery. I would also question the Ryder loss. If he had a good promoter at the beginning of his career, Khomitsky would do at least as well as Chudinov brothers.
Nice win for Shishkin!! He's technically sound and knew when to turn up the heat on Khamitski once he looked ready to go. Khamitski is a decent gatekeeper but not as good as he was in his 30s.
Shishkin had a pretty good amateur career, primarily at 178 pounds: He finished 3rd in the 2012 Russian Nationals, but failed to make it past the Quarterfinals from 2013-2015, then turned pro in 2016. So he doesnt have much experience on the international amateur level since he rarely cracked the top 3 in the Nationals.
think khomitsky is shot finally or quickly headed there. he was tough as nails and cant see him even just a couple years ago being stopped by a guy like this
at his best a few years back he was easily good enough to have been european champ if he had the right backing. as it was, hes one of those guys who was a good promoter away from having a bunch of losses become wins.
