He's ranked 23rd, so he can't fight for a major belt. A minor one would be fine, if he was coming off a win, draw, or a loss, ranked outside the top 16.

If Toney won, he'd have to drop the CW Title. If he was to lose, then he'd go back to being the CW champ in week 11.

Jeannette is willing to fight anybody that challenges him
Well, Jeffries would like to fight Jeannette. Also, Jeannette is ranked #16, so he'd be eligible to fight for the MGM Grand belt, have to sort out the opponent though.
well, I might as well let him have another shot at the MGM, looks like the opponent should be Liston....we can do Jeannette vs Jeffries next week...hopefully for the keys to the MGM.

Just posted about the MGM Grand. I'll ask Madison, Liston has been MIA as of late, so it's possible they still fight this week as well.

By the looks of the standings, it won't get past Jeffries. Dempsey will have to seek Sim glory elsewhere this week.

A lot of match-making on the first day. Everyone remember the weekly deadline to get matches made every week will be SUNDAY.

On some title news:

Toney has challenged Ali for his belt.

Marciano has offered a title shot to Shmelling.

Gomez is interested in facing an IBO opponent he hasn't faced yet, so a non US fighter outside of the top 16, but still looking at CW's this week.

Jeanette needs Liston or Madison to accept the MGM fight, or else Jeffries will take it.

Not sure, that was more of a Crease thing. I know he would set it up a few times a year. I guess it could be set up for anytime, really.

Jack Dempsey calls out all the champions, and accepts any challenges.

Holly Holm would like a title shot as she graciously gave when she was champ.

King Vassiliy will continue to feast on chopped Wombat.
He's not eligible sir.
Vitali would certainly be near the top of the list of contenders.

As will Peter Jackson be next week after the valiant display he put up in a true fight of two halves.

We will make an announcement on our first defence in due course.

If Bowe wins this week, Jackson would definitely be interested. It was a good fight.

If Vitali wins, he might want revenge against Jackson as well....... :TU:

Christina Hammer is also interested in mixing it up with Vonda Ward, but will keep Goodson as a backup.

Waiting to get a hold of Madison to see who he wants since his opponent wasn't in the sim.

Also, if Vitali wants the title shot, his management may want to consider updating their fighters record so we can properly assess his credentials.

As far as we can see he is unbeaten in 6, then nothing :maybe:

(you're welcome, Crease ;-) )

That's a point of contention that has really burned my ass, the lackadaisical effort in record keeping around here.

However... I've been keeping track...

Klitschko beat Bowe in week 7
Klitschko lost to Jackson in week 8
Klitschko beat Chuvalo in week 9

For the first time this year someone actually calls Ali out......Gilgamesh......we reluctantly accept. We'd rather see this fight with Max Schmeling........would you agree to a Scmeling fight soon for this acceptance?

Either way it's a yes. Why? Because we are the most reasonable management team in the history of the sport. No one can say it's not true.

Ali Predicts a 7th Round KO
in the form of some of his famous poetry.....

James Toney?...
You all know HE"S just a phony,
this chump is just full, of baloney
He don't wanna fight
What he TRULY would like
is a big pot of cheese rigatoni.

He should be a middleweight
Aint's sayin' he's overweight,
but this man,
has never,
showed up,
for dinner late.

His challenge was funny,
it made me feel sunny,
so y'all just
put down your money

Cuz just like Gene Tunney
This fella WILL run
like a jackrabbit?
Nah, like a bunny.

I don't care much for James,
I don't care for his games,
he may think he's slick,
but he can't fight a lick........

So

Round 1,
the bell rings
James is already slippin'
he feels like he's out there, ice skatin'

What's next?
Butterfly wings!
James think's he's trippin'
And he KNOWS he's headin' DOWN in the ratings.

This fight is now in the fifth
Jame's knows it's hopeless, Ali is leading
I talk to him and ask him why
would he ever ask for this beating?
But James just Mumbles away,
(I think it's the 5th that he's pleading)

Before this fight is done,
James will probably think
he was a hit & run
down.......... by a Zamboni

When the 7th bell rings,
he's gettin covered in stings
and he KNOWS it's "LIGHTS OUT"
for.......... James Toney
