I ended up watching Garcia-Porter and completely forgot about this.

Results, according to Bad Left Hook (spoiler alert, I guess)...

Estrada disappoints but scrapes by Orucuta by close decision.
Nietes is robbed of victory by a split draw with Palicte.
Ioka comfortably outpoints Arroyo.

i think boxrec temporarly had the ioka-arroyo decision reversed?

either way that sounds like a real good win for ioka after a year and a half out. nice return. i enjoy watching him, some nice offensive skills with a bit of openess that makes his fights fun

Only thing surprising is that Nietes got a draw. Need to watch that one. Never heard of his opponent, but the damn Filipinos seem to be experts at getting the odd high-caliber upset then getting beaten after.
yeh. Estrada won in a 'hard-fought battle' apparently. Decent scores though. Looked comfortable enough

Ioka looked great
Nietes vs Palicte was tainted by a HBO narrative through out, it was a very close bout
Estrada struggled like hell but deserved the win

Only person on the card who was robbed was Lulu Hawton, who stole the under card

It was a decent card but definitely a level below the previous Superfly HBO cards. Nietes and Estrada both deserved to win but neither was super impressive. If they do a Superfly 4 my dream card would be:

Rungvisai vs. Ioka
Estrada vs. Ancajas
Nietes vs. Yafai

Ancajas and Yafai are too scared. Plus they were supposed to already fight each other next..

Hey I'll take Ancajas/Yafai. Beggars can't be choosers. It would be good to see Moloney in the mix also after his KO of Concepcion. I just don't love the fact that this division that was giving us all these great fights is now falling in line with the rest of boxing where we're seeing a lot of mismatches. The Superfly 3 matchmaking was lackluster, and Gonzo/Fuentes, Rungvisai/Diaz, and Ancajas/Barrios are disappointing fights on the horizon as well.
