In a shocker, Matt Cameron (3-1-1) scored two knockdowns and won a four round unanimous decision over highly regarded heavyweight prospect Nkosi Solomon (0-1), who was making his pro debut. All three judges scored it 39-33.

After dominating most of the first round, Cameron stung Solomon with a big shot in the closing seconds. In the second, Cameron was really taking the fight to Solomon and landing solid punches as they were brawling.

In the third round, Cameron dropped Solomon with a big counter hook. Solomon made it to his feet, but he was taking damage and not throwing much back in return.

At the start of the fourth, two lefts handed on Solomon. He lost a point for holding too much and moments later Cameron dropped him for a second time. Solomon made it up again, and Cameron began battering him with punches - nearly stopping him with combinations against the ropes. And Solomon lost a second point for holding too much.

Middleweight Nikita Ababiy (1-0, 1 KO) made his pro debut with a crushing first round knockout of Jake Henriksen (2-3). A series of shots to the body sent Henriksen down for the full count.

Welterweight Reshat Mati (1-0, 1 KO) made his pro debut with a third round knockout of Adan Ahumada (3-6-2).

Mati took some shots in the first two rounds. He stuck to his jab and landed a hook to the liver, sending Ahumada down for the count.

A fitting name now that Miller has created his own gravitational pull.

Hi,

I'm from Montreal where Beterbiev is currently based. He has a LOT of issues with his current promoter (Group GYM); they went to court for contract issues and Artur lost. Apparently, he will still try to gain his cause with an appeal but this seems to waste a lot of time.

Also, Artur is very religious and he won't fight at certain times of the year; that surely won't help his progression by any means at this level.

Other reason he has a low fight count is the fact that the guy is relatively unknown and he is a real beast in the ring; he apparently has a lot of troubles finding decent opposition and the big names avoid him because the have everything to lose if they accept a fight against him.

Also, he was sidelined for 1 year in 2015-2016 with a shoulder injury.

I also hope he fights more because he is very exciting to watch.

Cheers,

Seb
