Kuzmin v. Mitchell
Kuzmin v. Mitchell
Kuzmin coming off ko wins over Price and Karpency has got my attention a little bit. He should blow Mitchell away early.

I dont know if it will be an early blowout but I agree he should dominate Mitchell, who has faced much weaker opposition.

So, apparently, Kuzmin looked pretty good in knocking out Mitchell in round six of a scheduled twelve rounder. He had Mitchell down multiple times before the ref stopped the fight.
I really wish that HBO had shown this fight instead of the super-bantamweight bout. Not that it was a bad fight & that kid has a bright future but I'm a sucker for heavyweights. And, after watching Michael Hunter take apart Ustinov I was in the mood for more up & coming big boys. I'd have really enjoyed being able to compare his performance to Kuzmin's.

I don't think Kuzmin has a bright future. He looked awful against washed up and totally unprepared David Price who took the fight on a 5 days notice. Kuzmin has good strength and power, but is very slow and one-dimensional. His 39 y.o. countryman Alexander Povetkin would beat him up easily. Kuzmin will be a Russian version of Arreola at best.sweetviolenturge wrote: ↑25 Nov 2018, 02:00 So, apparently, Kuzmin looked pretty good in knocking out Mitchell in round six of a scheduled twelve rounder.
