6 new diamond studded sunglasses
4 new gold chains with "I was robbed" emblazoned on the clasp
11 new rings (one for each finger...he can't count either)
1 new ruby encrusted food bowl for his new cat, "pussy."

The obvious answer after last nights post fight interview is ... Adrien Broner vs Jim Gray!

He'll be back because he has name recognition people will tune in to watch him fight again but it won't be in the main event of a PPV.

There has to be a big fight next for him.
The deal he has increases for his next two fights as far as I know.
I bet DAZN is glad not to be stuck with him.

Next for Broner are more decent paydays,, Broner is on the edge of elite but not quiet there, so makes a good living for being hated for being obnoxious , he plays the villian , that is his schtick, so he will get more paydays, more losses against elite level fighters and the beat goes on..

Would a fight between Broner and Danny Garcia offer any fireworks?

Easy to make. Punch stat crew wouldn't have to work very hard.

I like DG. His recent losses were both close and against quality fighters. He can take Broner. He's got the height advantage and has some pop, yes? :maybe:

If he continues he'll become a journeyman.
He could hang around the top 25 for another few fights but he's not dedicated enough to be near the top.
He loses to pretty much any legit top 10 welterweight

You don't think that his punch output since moving to welter has become somewhat "Broneresque?"

Against Thurman and Porter he seemed reluctant to throw. Apparently he's a little intimidated by the power of the 147 pounders.

Maybe Broner wouldn't be intimidating, but I have a sense that Garcia might be stuck in a rut too.

But he's probably perfect for Pacquiao's next bout. A guy who doesn't throw too often and will allow the aging Pacquiao to fight at his own pace. Just like Broner did.

He doesn't 'high tail' it as much as AD. I'd rather watch Garcia than Broner any day. Do I think his punch output is down? Probably yes, but doesn't seem as bad as Broner is at. Danny Garcia vs Pacquiao? Maybe? :maybe:

Question. Would you really want Adrian Broner in your training camp?

Who are these trainers? In camp, all you need to tell him is that he needs to generate some offense. He’s so dumb that he thinks he can win fights being a 100% counter puncher. It has burned him now how many times? So much talent and he loses with all this talent because he keeps fighting the same exact way.
did you hear his corner?
Up until the 10th they were saying you got this, then after the tenth- you need these rounds. By the tenth I had him needing 2 knockdowns and the last two.
That corner was almost as bad as Badou Jack’s corner. Did you hear that idiot? He was hoping for a disqualification as a strategy for second half of fight.

I’ve seen some fights where the losing boxer was adamant about them winning the fight and complaining about the judges score, but this was the most ridiculous. I gave Broner 2 rounds and I was scoring favorably for Broner. Sad. The kid has so much talent but I think that he’s poorly trained and not in 12 round shape (always looking at clock). Broner can only fight in counter punching mode. How someone hasn’t been able to teach him to set traps or fight coming forward is beyond me. The biggest waste of talent that I can remember off hand.

I think Danny Garcia would KO Pacqiao at this stage. I don't see Pacqiao fighting him at all, its all about the big bucks and the mega events and the only one that meets that criteria is Mayweather vs Pacqiao II both men need the money , both are old for boxing and probably no one gets hurt real bad.

The reason I started this thread was mainly regarding Broner's deal with TMT and Floyd;

$50 million for five fights dwarfs English promoter Eddie Hearn’s recent three fight offer to Broner on his new streaming service DAZN.

So Broner still has 4 fights left on this contract which was signed up mid '18. He can't fight anyone lowly, or a prospect and still get his $$$ because unless it's a name fighter, the money just isn't there.
Can Floyd weasle out?
Can Broner gain enough revenue from his potential future career to make this deal pay?
Who can he fight that makes this sort of money?
Please discuss

is the contract guaranteed? It seems like it should be restructured after last nights performance in which Broner refused to offer an impressive punch output.

Crawford can't fight Broner ... especially after accepting a step down to face Khan. Spence will slaughter Broner, I don't even think Broner would want that fight. Porter has already defeated Broner ... Danny Garcia is not something that the fans are clamoring for. Thurman is the only top guy that may want Broner.

AB has figured out he can still make big bucks while not having to try and win in an almost unwinnable situation. It's easy money. Talk trash, hype a fight, use good defense to avoid too much damage and cash that check. He's basically a WWE heel character.
