greater for the boxers pal, hope they invest that money smartly just a shame how much tax they have to pay in certain states in america (NYC is ridiculous) !oogiebe wrote: ↑02 Mar 2019, 19:21I'm starting to think we're in the midst of a promoter war. Well if you're impressed by mere numbers and ages, remember that Mando Ramos was a washed up old man at 24.punchoutsb wrote: ↑02 Mar 2019, 17:33That's pretty cool of you to start one of your crap posts with a disclaimer like that!SenorPipino wrote: ↑02 Mar 2019, 12:02There are no facts here except the numbers. In the Canelo II fight, GGG lost but still it was close.
Only haters are trying to denigrate GGG. Also don't forget that GGG was the older fighter.
And the "Golovkin is old" mantra (the saving grace of frustrated Golovkin Groupies) seems to only apply when he fights credible opponents.
When Golovkin looked ordinary against Brook, Jacobs and Canelo, his apologists all chirped in unison "But he's getting old!!"
I just said that maybe it was because he was no longer picking on C level fighters. A better breed of boxers were exposing the Golovkin flaws.
But I was assured that it was age, not lack of greatness, that was making Golovkin appear limited.
I didn't believe it, but Golovkin fanatics want to. They're difficult to discourage.
And then magically a C+ level fighter in super welter Martiroysan was introduced and voila---Golovkin looked young and destructive again.
All that old age suddenly disappeared overnight when he faced the right, vulnerable opponent.
Age has nothing to do with Golovkin's struggles. It's simply that at 26 or 36, he's never been the fighter so many pretend he is.
Higher caliber fighters have proven that. Canelo has always been better. Ask Sanchez. He knows.![]()
And George Foreman was heavyweight champion at 45.
The numbers and ages mean nada. It's just something that weepy Golovkin Groupies always feel obliged to mention to justify their hero looking mediocre or getting pounded.
I don't know what it is about that guy that inspires you to always protect him.
He proved what a fraud he is in the ring and outside it too with his comical BS "I fight for championships and legacy only,"
And then Golovkin reveals his true noble self by throwing his IBF title into the garbage and extorting millions more from Golden Boy for a Canelo rematch. Even though he can barely attract 150,000 PPV buys without Canelo in the opposite corner.
Does he pay some of you to cheerlead for him? Waste of time. Most fans long ago moved on from his tired shenanigans.
His hype-job era was mercifully short.

If Golovkin can return and regain his belts we will have no choice but to call him quadruple G.
Golovkin v Jacobs 2 - let's get it on as a certain referee used to say.
Far more appeal than Golovkin v the Canelo Cartel in Sin City again.

GGG beating Canelo in a third fight is hard to happen due of obvious reasons like GGG's age , peaking of Canelo and of course judging. But I still think that GGG has enough gas in his tank to beat a few top mw's.Thomastearns wrote: ↑03 Mar 2019, 07:04 If Golovkin can return and regain his belts we will have no choice but to call him quadruple G.

8-4 Canelo in the first GGG fight can only be attributed to shameless favoritism, utter delusion, or a hilarious accounting nobody should ever take seriously. That's the kind of score that proves abortion should be covered under every medical plan. The second fight was close, Canelo winning that is understandable he started off great. The first fight, is embarrassing to debate. It's like asking the 400lb mutant at Wal-Mart why they have two left footed shoes or why do you have more teeth in your pocket than in your mouth.. if the answer is even intelligible, it most certainly bears no attachment to reality.

Most of these naysayers are trolls who just like trolling on forums about GGG 'not being so good'. lol

GGG is gonna try his best to get the trilogy outside of Nevada.
