Pro fights in Jamaica

Post by locoxelbox »

I was in Jamaica for two weeks and there was a professional boxing show held there in Savanna-La-Mar on April 28. I wasn’t at the show but I read about it in the local newspapers.
In a four-rounder, welterweight Glenroy Beckford stopped Martin Anderson in the second round. In the main event, a scheduled six rounder, Gairy Campbell beat Carlton Bailey via TKO 5.

It was on the Sunday Herald, I have it in front of me but I can't find on the internet version.
Also on the Jamaica Observer from april 28 it talks about the match but I can't find where they talk about the result but I'm sure I read it there too.

I found that link also;
but unfortunately local news media don’t always follow up promos with reports.
Can you email or fax a copy of the news report with the date on it?

[email protected]
Or
BoxRec’s toll free fax number: (866) 297-7761

Your help is much appreciated. :TU:
