hw Fabio Wardley v Dennis Lewandowski

Post by funso banjo baby »

next fight for novice Wardley
and its a small step up.
Lewandowski has not been stopped including against Tom Shwarz

he's either coming over to roll over or he may fight...in which case we will possibly see a bit more of Wardley.

Fabio looked very fast and mobile against Scot Saward...but Saward was a tree...literally

Wardley is unimpressive. I was going to report this fight, but Fabio was quoted as being close to a title shot and that turned me off. FFS he's like 25 and green as flowering cannabis sativa.

Dennis Lewandowski has some half decent skills. He won't roll over but he's very overweight and if Wardley is half the fighter I think he is, he should get a clear decision.

He took his shirt off weighing in and he looks at least five stone overweight. Minimum. This isn’t the fighter that fought Fury’s next opponent a couple of years ago. No where close

That’s exactly the point I was making. He was 240 against Schwarz and he’s almost 300 now. I’m not saying he was ever any good but he’s clearly a lot worse now than when he fought Schwarz

Listed as 351lb!! He's only 25 and supposedly a professional boxer, how on earth can you get so fat? He tagged Wardley a number of times but it was really only a matter of time. A little over two years ago he weighed six stone less, he could of given Wardley a fight then.

The fat blimp went 10 with Tom Schwarz. Not much of a boost for Furys credibility about his next opponent.

He started putting more weight on after his first loss.

In regards to FAT opponents.

Wilder fought Dustin Nichols in 2010. He weighed 398 pounds.

It's when Wilder was dropped in round 1, but ref ruled a slip.

*******************************
Wilder fought Richard Greene Jr in 2009. He weighed 352½ pounds

He also fought Alvaro Morales in 2010, who weighed 291.

Check this fight out: http://boxrec.com/en/event/522173/1182556

Boris Shishporenak v Stan Morrison

300lbs vs. 355lbs = 655lbs combined weight!

Absolutely ridiculous fight.

Lewandowski made Butterbean look like a featherweight.

There are some out of shape fat heavyweights out there but I don't think I've seen that kind of blubber around the mid section. Usually the fat heavyweights have a big frame and while the do have excess fat, you can see that they have a lot of muscle underneath. Lewandowski hasn't and he also doesn't have the survival skills or toughness that we come to expect from journeymen.

Wardly was actually touting the fact that he beat a guy several stones heavier than him as if it was a triumph!

I actually worry about a fighters health when they get into such poor condition .

I'm surprised they can even get a licence to fight .

The BBBC generally do a very good job of policing licenses for fighting in the UK however I think they maybe got this one wrong. Lewandowski fought Schwarz in June 2016 and, although he was clearly outboxed, he was in decent condition and wasn’t woefully out of his depth. Less than three years later, at the age of 25 he’s scaling in 103lbs heavier! Over seven stone more in less than three years!

Clearly the kid isn’t in a good place and he was in no condition to compete as a professional last night. In that nick he shouldn’t have been licensed IMO

:TU: I'm shocked it went ahead but I suppose it's been seen at heavyweight many times before .

The board of control should just use a bit of common sense .

Ray Austin came in to the Dychko fight last night at just about 300LBS. It's an epidemic.
