Boxrec have issues with Mexican, Georgian, Hungarian and Slovakian results but update USA, Canadian, Australian, UK and rest of the western world that use Mexican or Eastern Europeans to build their fighters. Makes sense! 🤦🏽‍♂️
I’ve spoken to commissions across the world. Boxrec can change results or not upload them but it still stands on the boxing record. Regardless if Boxrec post or not. The commission or governing body is the authority not Box Ltd which is a business.
To be fair this is pretty nonsensical, boxrec is supposed to be an unbiased recorder of fight information provided by recognised Commissions, not an arbiter of the boxing world. I understand (to a point) their stance against organisations like BIBA or the MBC - although that leads to situations where the listed champion for, say, the WBF, is not correct on boxrec because the title was won most recently on a BIBA show - but to not upload results (in this instance) from EBU affiliated Commissions does rather beggar belief.

Just out of curiosity, Escobar, are you connected with one of the boxers in question from this show?

Yes I am. Hence I’ve been trying to solve this with John and Marina.
Spoken to different commissions across the world about what they are doing.
They don’t have the power and authority to do what they are currently doing but for unknown boxers, it’s easier for them to get away with.

UK do exactly what countries they are trying to ban do. How many prospects fight an opponent with 30 plus loses. They still record the result. Peter Buckley was a famous journeyman for fighting everyone. Even Naz. Their stance holds no weight.

I cannot imagine it being a journeyman issue. Adi Burden is fighting the same winless opponent for the third time in four fights (http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/758494) on the Warren and Racz event this weekend
(http://boxrec.com/en/event/785457), although Racz is not listed as a co-promoter on Boxrec, but is everywhere else. As the BBBoC are sanctioning this nonsense, in addition to boxer A (9-0) vs boxer B (0-41) [on the same event], maybe they could soon find themselves in breach of Boxrec’s mysterious laws. :maybe:

It has been nearly two months and Boxrec still have provided no clarity on what the issue is. The mind boggles.

They have an issue with these east European boxers and shows.
Like they are fraudulently building their career.
allegedly, Eddie Hearn and all Uk promoters do the same thing.
The Hungarian show in question was as legit as it comes and they refuse to update results or communicate why not.
I’ve got the commission report and everything what was sent to Boxrec. It’s official.
It’s now become personal for them as one of the fighters to my knowledge has got a lawyer contacting them.

Whatever happens, they are doing Boxrec a disservice.
