Its becoming quite clear that going back to the old model of free TV fights is the way to go. Sell adds for mega fights and you'll have super bowl type of numbers. People have been watching PPVs free on illegal streams for years. If they want to monetize it they should treat it as they do regular sports and use the viewer numbers to sell ads. Theyre either too greedy or too dumb to realize there is people making money off them. Most "illegal" apps are from $5 to $20 for a month of service. Im sure millions around the world pay for that and its not being picked up in those stats. They are not getting a dime out of those while they keep squeezing the few that still pay $60 fora PPV

Not been many on Showtime. That figure will increase after Saturday. Wilder will definitely do over 1.5m and that’s on Showtime. He could squeeze around 3m on FOX.
