They usually are stunning knock outs but I never enjoy seeing fighters bodies contorting like that. I think the first time I saw it was when Rich Franklin ko'd Quarry. Remember thinking it looked like those Bugs Bunny cartoons where the boxer goes stiff as a board before falling back.

Seems more common occurrence in muay thai. This is one of the worst I've seen, unfortunately the guy is actually out on his feet before getting blasted by the shin.

Masvidal calls out Conor.
“I want McGregor,” Masvidal said Thursday during an appearance on “The Dan LeBatard Show.” “I want to break his face. I think that’s an easy paycheck. He’s got these cash symbols written all over his face for me. I just don’t see it going his way if I’m honest with you.”
I usually roll my eyes these days whenever someone calls out McGregor. But, this fight is very intriguing on several levels. First, it would be very interesting how Conor approaches this fight regarding how Jorge has handled trash talkers in the past. Skillwise, it's just a fight I'd love to see. I have heard Jorge mention Conor at least 3 times in the past 2 years. Conor has not muttered anything resembling Jorge's name.

I honestly think Conor stays far away from Jorge. Wrong fight for him on all sides. He may get wrecked if he tries pulling his usual stunts leading up to the fight. And, if he loses, which is a very realistic outcome, Jorge will embarrass him afterwards, similar Askren.

Either way, this fight makes money, and I would love to see it.

Wow very very good win for Fili!

I'm a big fan but I was leaning to a Moraes victory. Very well done young man.

Sacramento power! His teammate Josh Emmett got himself a stoppage win as well. I'm rooting for Faber to have a nice comeback win too.

I'd love to see Faber shut Cejudo's mouth. There isn't a more annoying guy in the sport atm.

I used to dislike Faber back in the WEC days. He came off as a dumb faux-surfer "bro" type. Eventually he grew on me. Type of guy who stays in shape, takes any matchup he's given without complaint, and always brings it.

Although I don't think this win warrants a title shot. Sterling deserves that title shot by a damn mile and will rightfully be pissed if he doesn't get it.

I think benavidez deserves the title shot much more than sterling.

Benavidez is at 125. Has he said he's moving up to 135?

Aljo has rattled off 4 straight wins over very high level opponents. He deserves a shot.

No, cejudo can only defend one belt at a time. He's already out until next year.

Cejudo should just drop the 125 belt and let Benavidez fight someone for it. You can't actively defend 2 belts. It just screws up both divisions.

Yeah I felt a similar way about him. Bit like Yves Edwards probably peaked just before the title existed in the UFC. If it had been there a year or two earlier he probably would have snagged it.

Yea Yves Edwards vs. Josh Thomson was sort of for the "unofficial" UFC LW title, right before they axed the whole division for 2 years. Still not clear on why the hell they did that.

Be that as it may, benavidez is more deserving of a title shot than sterling. If asshead vacates after letting a fight go on that would have been for the strap I'll hate him even more.

Covington completely dominated Robbie. His conditioning is some of the best I've ever seen across any combat sport.

Him and Usman will be fun. Both guys are very well conditioned. Colby's wrestling is also the best I've seen since GSP, with Usmans being very close behind. Fun WW times!

Yeah super impressed with Colby tonight.

At the time though, whilst Colby was brilliant, it almost felt like Robbie couldn't pull the trigger.
