Schwartz was a stay busy fight.
Accepted, pass given.
Taking on Martin straight afterwards (if it's correct) is truely taking the proverbial :shame:

100 million dollars to fight Schwarz and Martin is the definition of easy money.

Also, Schwarz and Martin sounds like a 1930s comedy team.

I hate this match up.
But Martin is probably better than Schwartz.
Not that that is saying too much

Fury must be the smartest guy in the room. 100 million and look who he faces. How does Arum let this happen? Keeping Fury safe for the big money rematch?

This is the level of guys Fury has to fight to score KO's. I guess they figure a Heavyweight with KO's to his credit is more marketable than a guy that goes the distance all the time in dull fights.

Once again, marketing towards the casuals. It won't help. The lack of good fights is what's killing boxing, not a lack of KO's.

I don't hate this fight. Fury should win easily but Martin will give it a go, Tyson has heart for days but he's susceptible to getting hurt and Martin can punch a bit.

Well they say that Tyson is the Floyd Mayweather of the heavyweight division. It’s a known fact that Mayweather struggles with southpaws, whereby he has never lost to one or really come close to losing, Castillo for example was an orthodox. So by that logic, Fury’s in for a tough night.

Going by boxrec Martin is top 20
Yes he was a champion of circumstance rather than ability, but still he has only lost to Joshua, and in a close fight to Kownacki.

I agree with the above, though; would like to see him against Price, both having come through around the same time, but doubt it has much interest outside of UK

Price should have Hughie fury tunnel vision.

Charles Martin is a solid enough opponent. If Fury gains victory in this fight without any issues .... than bring on the winner of Deontay Wilder vs "King King" Ortiz next.

Martin is a big, hard hitting southpaw who has lost only (close) to Kownacki and was blown away by Joshua, but he's a more than solid opponent. People have to see past his KO to AJ.

Martin is a decent boxer. He can be the worst champion ever, because he was given a shot after no big wins and won the title due to the opponent's injury, and was KOed in the first defence. But he isn't pure trash at all, as some say. However, Fury is levels above him and this matchup is a quite easy work for the Gypsy King.
