Boxing schedule survey
Boxing schedule survey
Hey, I am doing research to learn about how people keep track of upcoming boxing fights. The survey is only 5 questions and I would really appreciate the help. If you are interested here is the link:

Re: Boxing schedule survey
Answered it.
Regarding the "most important" features that you questioned.
Apart from who and when, the most important things for me are
- any titles on the line.
- the boxing records of the boxers (linking to boxrec is a must)
- the *importance* of the matchup.
I say *importance* because with 17 divisions and four major belts and an average of 2,5 defences per year, you have 170 title fights per year, or about 15 per month. Some of these fights are "cannot miss fights", but some of these fights are like Ivan Itchycock vs TBA.
Sometimes non-title fights are the most important, but rarely.
Good luck.

such an app should allow users to decide if they want to see the fights schedule sorted per country, per title/abc org, per weight class, per importance (for example : show only 4/5+ stars fights only). channel that broadcasts it and a time would be great too but i know it would be difficult.
i would like to have such an app, i'd like to follow boxing scenes that are exotic to me due to my localization and nationality like Japan, such app would make it easier i guess
Re: Boxing schedule survey
Thanks for the help guys.

Anyone is welcomed to still to take it btw.

Done. What's next?
Re: Boxing schedule survey
Did it.
ESPN is a good page for upcoming fights for me in the US.
I would download a free app (advertisements expected).

Hi @ralph-nyc,
What are the results of your research project? I need to compare two apps for my topic on Psychology: Psychological awareness in creating boxing schedules.
