Not from me, I think Lara would box circles around quillin at their best.
All this is irrelevant anyway really.
Quillin is gonna kick Angulo's ass on September 21st. You can take that to the bank.

Not even a single replay or close up.
Are people calling it KO of the year because it knocked Beltran out cold?
Re: Peter Quillin vs. Alfredo Angulo - September 21, 2019
Do you guys saw full fight? from higlights it seems Quillin took a serious beating but he landed almost twice more punches. Anyway Im glad Angulo won but im hoping this is not a door for any big fights for him. Both are shot.

It was a good fight and a good PBC card overall. People knock a card a lot when it doesn’t look appealing

Wow, Qullin is obviously much more shot than I (or bettors) thought.

He was never that good to begin with. Jacobs obviously took away his belief.
Re: Peter Quillin vs. Alfredo Angulo - September 21, 2019
Bettors got crushed on this one. Crushed.
Considering Quillin soundly outboxed JLeon Love in his last fight and Angulo has been losing to journeymen for 5 yrs there was nothing to deduce Quillin would get old overnight here and not just box circles around Angulo. Something happened in Rd3. Quillin had his way in the first 2 rds then oddly started trading in Rd3, getting caught and having his legs seemingly leave his body. From there he looked severely compromised the rest of the fight.

Quillin landed more but Angulo was walking through it and hurting him almost every round and was the one doing the big damage. Angulo clearly deserved it so the split was generous to Kid.

Just saw the rest of that fight today. My DVR cut off in the 6th round last night. Finally got to see the rest of it today.
Angulo won the reward of getting beat up one more time by a semi-big name, and Quillin might as well hang 'em up.

All good, just know the first boxing era you know better than myself will be the one after I die.

I can't concede that, but I did definitely botch the call on this fight.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 18:58 All good, just know the first boxing era you know better than myself will be the one after I die.

According to Nielsen Media Research the fight averaged 325,000 viewers on FS1, peaking at 340,000 viewers.

Probably wouldn't matter, but I've wondered if it affects their ratings at all. That on the Satellite guide this stuff will often read "PBC" or something instead of "Boxing" like most other televised fights. Some fans might actually zip right by it never noticing that Boxing's on.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑25 Sep 2019, 09:51 According to Nielsen Media Research the fight averaged 325,000 viewers on FS1, peaking at 340,000 viewers.

Maybe.. people were probably not fussed about the fight. It was only until after ppl say it was good.gilgamesh wrote: ↑25 Sep 2019, 09:59Probably wouldn't matter, but I've wondered if it affects their ratings at all. I never really rated Quillin but I'm stunned he lost this fight. Had a busy weekend so i never seen it, but wasn't this at SMW aswell? Quillin should retire, what a fall from grace.
