The following year he went all the way to the gold medal of a International Invitational Tournament in Taipei,"

He's signed with the Mutoh gym who have pegged him as their next star and likened him him to Nobuo Nashiro.

Two young cuban prospects who recently defected are scheduled to have their pro debuts soon.

Cuban No 2 at 75 kg (after Olympic champion Arlen Lopez) Osleys Iglesias debuts in Germany on 7 September.

Cuban No 2 at 81 kg (after Olympic champion Julio Cesar La Cruz) Osvary Morrell debuts in US on 31 August.
Morrell won gold at the World Youth Championships in 2016.
