Fancy Conroy to get the better of sterling and I've been impressed with what I've seen of Ward. Ajisafe is a awkward fighter and I think he could cause a minor upset against Burton who I don't rate. Looking forward to seeing the German he's meant to be a good fighter

Do you ? How and why ?
I was thinking of betting fairly large on Sterling @ the prices, but that's put me of - I know you know your stuff. I thought Conroy just screams "plucky area-level trier" and Sterling could easily go beyond that.

Take away the Buatsi fight as he's just not on that level. Conroy can whack abit and had Ward ( who I rate) in real trouble . He's a bit more experienced than Sterling as well and I think it could tell.
You know your stuff just as much as me mate so don't let me put you off having the bet. I've had a bit on Conroy, I don't think he will knock sterling out but I do think he will take it on points in a very close fight

I'm backing Conroy too, hope he pulls it off. Him and Ward earlier this year was a cracking watch.

I was uhmming and ahhing, but when you AND The Jackal said you fancied Conroy - he should actually be favourite - that's enough to make it "no bet".

And that's three forumites and The Jackal saying Conroy should be the favourite - so it's clearly madness to back Sterling @ 2/5

What did Frampton say. I always take what fighters say with a pinch of salt as they back fighters they have a affiliation to

I expect it to be a real close one in fairness, Sterling can be an awkward customer.

He said he fancied Conroy at 2/1, obviously rated his performance against his good friend (Ward).

Philbin looked in real trouble after that body work from Michel, big balls to battle back well the following round. Michel looks tidy enough.

Yeah that's what I mean. I might be looking to much into it but if Carl said he thinks Sterling will win, it is sort of saying he'd have a good chance of beating my mate (Ward)

Great stuff from Philbin - he's come back from the dead and won a round.
Michel has faded badly and is backing off.

Michel needs to put the left hook to the body after the right uppercut instead of just leaving it as a single shot

Credit to Philbin, came on strong in the later rounds and was making Michel work hard to stave him off before the knockdown. After being down and hurt as the smaller man he showed a lot of grit there, fair play.
