Have to say I was shocked Canelo had the power to stop kovalev like that. Even a depleted kovalev I expected to go the distance. I think in hindsight he was a spent force especially after having a camp so soon before.
I think his gameplan was based on what he had in the tank.

I bet on Manny as soon as it was announced, after the weigh in I bet by ko and by ko in RDS 8-11.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑20 Dec 2019, 21:46When DLH came in underweight, I knew the game was up.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑20 Dec 2019, 20:44
PAC/dlh was my biggest gambling win ever so maybe I felt I owed him. Lol, Thurman lacks power and he isn't faster. That's where I was coming from.
Sadly I'd already bet by then.

That was another one I'm glad I didn't bet on. Later I read Freddie Roach say DLH looked like a ghost the day before, and couldn't even run one lap without stopping in the gym. Roach also let DLH getting IV's go, saying it didn't matter. Then some sparring stories came out with DLH getting beat up bad by Valero. Not a good way to end a career, but the right time I guess.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑20 Dec 2019, 21:46When DLH came in underweight, I knew the game was up.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑20 Dec 2019, 20:44

Shows what a great chin he had that Manny couldn't actually stop him even with a totally spent fighter in front of him.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑20 Dec 2019, 23:02I bet on Manny as soon as it was announced, after the weigh in I bet by ko and by ko in RDS 8-11.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑20 Dec 2019, 21:46
