Joshua is the bigger draw in this country. I mean most of the crowd in Vegas was made up of UK fans, so I am not sure Fury is bigger than Joshua even in the US.

Social media followings are stacked in favour of Joshua, and we're talking millions and millions of difference.

Fury is more popular than he once was that's for sure, but he's got a long way to go yet to match Joshua.

I wouldn't take less than 50% if I were Fury I'll tell you that.

If I'm the #1 guy in the division, I'm not making less than the #2 guy. Not even entertaining it for a second. Just on principle.
Who says fury is the number 1? It’s highly debatable. This fight decides it obviously but until then, this talk of fury being the clear number 1 is unfounded.
Fury didn't lose to a fat guy last year. He's #1

Agreed. Joshua did a 10k run in the rematch with Ruiz. Fury did a demolition job on Wilder.

Absolutely no doubt about it. Fury can't sell out Wembley though can he?

If he fought Whyte or Usyk. It probably would.

If he fought AJ it definitely would.

Maybe a lesser guy than that. He's a bigger star now than he ever was before, and a lot of his fans apparently flew over to attend the fight in Vegas so I don't see why even more wouldn't make a shorter trip to Wembley.

Maybe they don’t need to fight. Fury’s dad says so. And Joshua can remain undisputed champ of Instagram.

Think people are maybe doing AJ a dis-service in His 24 fights to date (1 defeat) - his resume is decent for who he’s boxed compared to most.

Fury scrambled home the time before - was 1 second away from KO 1st time.....was on deck to Cunningham and lost to John McDermott (years back) granted.

Yeah he’s put in top notch performance - but let’s see him back it up now again v Wilder next time around before claiming he’s messiah.

He went in as the underdog v the alleged most dangerous puncher ever in the heavyweight division and beat him all ends up. Nothing to prove, he is #1 in the division.

He’s a massive commodity for sure, and negotiations will likely be gruelling.

Indeed let’s see how Fury fares vs Wilder sans Power Rangers suit.

Fury still has a lot to prove. He's beaten two excellent champions and that's in the history books, but he's never made a single defence as world champion and that's pathetic. Oh, unless you include that lineal champion b0ll0cks which would make Sefer Seferi the worst challenger in heavyweight boxing history.

If Fury wants to be mentioned in the company he seems to think he belongs, do the decent thing and defend against Dillian Whyte ASAP.

Joshua is committed to two mandatories in Pulev and Usyk so the opportunity could present itself to Fury make the Whyte match.

good point, I like it. Defending vs a legit challenger is becoming a lost art, it sometimes feels. He’s stepped up magnificently three times but yes there is a lot to prove - can he handle the stress of mandatory contenders, sanctioning bodies etc? Will the success and responsibility make him melt down?

Precisely mate.

Fury has made an outstanding start but can he see it through ? No one gave Buster Douglas a hope in hell but solid challengers, on their day, can wreak havoc to the best of championship reigns.

I don’t know, I read our Terry D on Twitter saying it so I’ll take his word for it.

They’re saying 850,000 at $80. Not bad. Not Bob Arum good but nobody thought 2m was serious.

I’m quite surprised to be honest. Whilst it’s a good amount, I genuinely don’t think Fury, or his team, could have done any more to hype the fight.

I think it shows just how poorly Wilder’s been promoted over there.

Will be interesting to see the U.K. PPV numbers. Again, I don’t think they could have done any more to hype the fight with the ITV series, pushing on morning TV, the pre show on ITV and well hyped by BT Sports.

Just over 750k I read. Is that a good number? Hmm, well, good exposure, but there was 50m+ in purses and heavy hype spending
