Under Antonio Margarito for the fight against Manuel Gomez on 2/18/06 it says that the official time was 1:14 of the first round. But I just watched this fight and although the Announcer says that that was the official time. Richard Steele definately called the fight with 0:46 left in the fight... After 2:14 had passed. confused....

Under Floyd Mayweather Jr for the fight against Carlos Hernandez on 5/26/01 it says that Mayweather suffered a knockdown when his "right" glove touhed the canvas. Again, I just watched this fight and Floyd definately touched his "left" glove to the canvas. confused...

Am I missing something with these fights??
Thanks for any clarification on this.
Love this site, tons of information.
Update/Confused - Antonio Margarito & Floyd Mayweather J
What the Announcer says and what the news media reports is often
as different from each other as they are from the official commission
score sheets that we use to anchor and lock our results.
If U want it changed, get the commission to send us an addendum to make it official.

wow... All those people saying it was really 1:14. That's amazing. I found that the fight is posted on youtube.com (link below), and it sure looks to be that the knockout takes place after 2:14. I guess I'll email the nevada boxing commision. Thanks again.
