Dude. Give it up. We all read what you said. You can deny your own words if you want to, but it just makes you look like a guy who can't accept when someone calls him on his hypocrisy.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑31 Jan 2021, 15:40You must be suffering from the ‘‘Mandela Effect’. Even though a fight was cancelled over it because of him whereas a fight was never cancelled due to Roy?
Hey it ain't just me pal.
Who else remembers EO's Double Standards? Canelo didn't duck anybody, while GGG did. Canelo never did PED use, While Roy did. Anybody remember that?
I sure do.
Or you’re greatly embellishing the reality of the situation.
It makes you look small.
I frankly don't care that much, I just wish when you didn't like a fighter you'd just say so instead of applying absurd double standards where when a guy you like does it, it's cool, and when a guy you don't does it. It's not.
Re: Who is the biggest threat to Canelo?
Oh hey by the way. I'm seeing now when I look up your posts that it'll bring up stuff where people quoted you as if it's your post. So yeah I didn't ever say Canelo was "The Red Chicken"
I didn't think that sounded like something I'd say. I remember posters saying that, but that wasn't me because that's just not the way I talk.

We all struggle to admit when we're wrong, but this guy is another level. I'll always laugh at his lengthy novels defending himself after he said canelo only fought once in 18.gilgamesh wrote: ↑01 Feb 2021, 10:39 Oh hey by the way. Re: Who is the biggest threat to Canelo?
Also whatever opinion I had of Canelo back then I don't have a negative opinion of him now. My problem with him at the time would've been due to his ducking Golovkin, now that he's fought him twice I can't well hold that against him anymore.
Re: Who is the biggest threat to Canelo?
Not really. Because you post so damn much I don't remember where it was you said it, and I don't feel like looking through 100 or 200 posts to find what I know damn well you said. Everyone else knows it too.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑01 Feb 2021, 20:07Should be easy for you to quote my words then, shouldn’t it?![]()

Quote the sentences, like I did with your post, and let’s discuss their literal meaning and whether they were factually accurate or not.
I’d prefer to defend my actual words in isolation and in context, rather than someone’s interpretation of them or their attempts to “read between the lines”.
And I guess that’s the reason you’re apparently fearful to directly quote my words.

I’ve just realised, after admitting to calling Canelo “The Red Chicken”... and me quoting your posts on two occasions...
You’ve abused your moderator powers and removed “The Red Chicken” phrase from your posts altogether, without applying a modification time stamp.

"Roy Jones Jr. is respected and admired by this forum, despite being a proven drug cheat that rarely underwent PED testing.
Canelo is despised by this forum. And he's also ridiculed for submitting an adverse test sample that would have undeniably been cleared today had the current WADA protocols applied.
And like I said before, Canelo was ultimately cleared of committing any wrongdoing by WADA, the WBC and also the NSAC."
Your quote EO.
And if you still won't admit to your double standards when it's staring you in the face, then just shut the f*ck up and quit talking to me.

Nah the Red Chicken thing must've been something someone else said. That's not my style. I did mention I didn't like Canelo though. Which is not the way I feel about him now.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑01 Feb 2021, 20:36I’ve just realised, after admitting to calling Canelo “The Red Chicken”... and me quoting your posts on two occasions...

The one about Roy Jones Jr. being a proven drug cheat even though he never had a fight cancelled for it while Canelo did.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑01 Feb 2021, 20:38Which sentence of mine do you believe is factually inaccurate?gilgamesh wrote: ↑01 Feb 2021, 20:37 "Roy Jones Jr. is respected and admired by this forum, despite being a proven drug cheat that rarely underwent PED testing.

And I don't think Canelo is despised by the forum. Hell a lot of people were giving him a realistic shot against several Heavyweights. That doesn't sound like they hate him to me.

Good for you kid.
Anyway, let’s get back to your accusations of me being factually incorrect, shall we?

So are you saying that Roy didn’t test positive for PED’s and refused to submit a B-sample.gilgamesh wrote: ↑01 Feb 2021, 20:39The one about Roy Jones Jr. being a proven drug cheat even though he never had a fight cancelled for it while Canelo did.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑01 Feb 2021, 20:38Which sentence of mine do you believe is factually inaccurate?gilgamesh wrote: ↑01 Feb 2021, 20:37 "Roy Jones Jr. is respected and admired by this forum, despite being a proven drug cheat that rarely underwent PED testing.

The only reason why the fight went ahead, because there wasn’t any rules to technically the prevent the bout.
If you don’t believe me, Google it.
Roy Jones Jr. also rarely underwent PED testing throughout his career.
Do you find facts upsetting?
Re: Who is the biggest threat to Canelo?
And yet he didn't have a fight cancelled for it. While Canelo did. Crazy. It's almost like Canelo did it, and was proven guilty of it, and Roy never was.
I don't find facts upsetting at all. I'm telling you the facts right here. If the fight ain't cancelled over it, then it's hear say at best. If a fight is cancelled over it, then the evidence had to be substantial or they wouldn't have cancelled the fight.
Stands up to pretty basic logic I'd say.
Nobody in Boxing is making money off of a cancelled or postponed fight.
