If it was anyone else I'd agree, but not BS :shame: He's made his bed, now he has to lie in it.

This board is reacting the way it is for a reason and BS has brought it all on himself

It was a stonking right uppercut that did the damage. Billy was comfortably behind on all the cards. I strongly disagree that he was outboxing Canelo, I didn't see that at all.

Well it looked to me like he was bossing things over the last three rounds before he got his eye busted, Chris Manix had him up as well.

Although never thought for a minute the judges were giving him any credit whatsoever, they were blaring mariachi music between rounds as they marked the cards, just in case they didn’t take the hint...

Most people were slagging off Mannix' assessment during and after the fight and that the judges got it right. All opinions, of course. :TU:

Not sure if this has been asked before so please forgive me.
Does compubox take into account shots blocked on the arms or gloves ?
I’ve looked at the stats and watched the fight and I’m sure Alvarez didn’t land clean the amount of punches compubox states.

Hearn had allegedly told a boxing journalist that Saunders has multiple fractures to the orbital bone and having surgery today, described as a quadripod fracture.

Here's an in-depth breakdown of user scorecards, from people using our scoring system. Over 40 people scored with over 30 completing a full scorecard so it's not a bad data set. If you don't have Twitter you can see all this data here: https://fight-score.com/analysis/saul-a ... d-by-round :TU:

Will Alverez go up to 175 after his next fight?

He already said he will stay at 168 even after he is undisputed champion.

He's not getting stick for quitting. He is getting stick for knocking a man for quitting in those circumstances, and then doing it. So if you are knocking people knocking a man for quitting in those circumstances, one of those people is Saunders, so you are knocking him yourself.

You can add his hypocrisy on top of that, of course, but that's enough to be going on with.

Shame, I think Canelo vs Beterbiev is the best fight in boxing, and probably the only one at 160-175 that I'd have Canelo as underdog.

Looks like he just panicked and quit, I suppose the official line is Tibbs wouldn’t let him out ...I can’t believe he did that after all the gypsy fighting talk. He might regret that forever, I feel sorry for him, he was handling it brilliantly up until that. The hardest game.

Him & Fury never defend their belts, fight once a year, fail drug tests, associate with scumbags & embarrass the sport.

Real fighting men are your Ricky Burns, Carl Froch, Anthony Crolla, Josh Warrington types who take on all comers, fight through injuries & regularly entertain us.
Fully agree well said

Yeah I suppose to take three or four rounds off the pound for pound number one, you can just box average.

he won 2 rounds and then got stopped in 8, he's a good boxer but he's not brilliant and wasn't brilliant at all :TU:

Agreed. It wasn't the first couple of rounds that Canelo lost to non P4P'er.
