One Last Fight For Lennox Lewis In March 2004,,,,,BUT ?

Post by Seamus »

it's not a rematch with Vitali Klitschko. Instead it's a 12 rounder against James Toney fresh off his stoppage of Evander Holyfield. Who wins and why ?

Lewis by wide decision. James couldn't get around his jab.

Toney had no tools against even that version of Lewis. The best scenario for Toney would be a survival mode in his shell, getting outworked to a wide dec loss.

Mark me down as another one for Lewis via Wide decision. He'd probably have dropped Toney as well seeing as how Peter could.

Lewis by stoppage inside 6.
Unless Lewis got shot overnight from the Klitschko fight, Lennox would have too much power even for Toney.
Could see a decision for Lewis I suppose based off the wear and tear of previous fights, still doesn't diminish Lewis's power.
Lennox Lewis was a serious hitter.
