It's best it's called off with all this rigmarole going on. Eubank Jnr was most likely going to batter or seriously hurt Benn and the cat droppings would hit the fan with the roiding/doping and the rehydration palaver etc.

Wonder what the fall out will be with this now off ? Dazn must have done a load of cash with it not going ahead and so will Matchroom not to say the reputational damage for the brand over their attempts to salvage the fight.
Can't see Benn being too popular either and wonder when/if he fights again ?

Hearn is a rat. Be a man eddie and blame your fighter for being a drug cheat, not the board.

Always going to be money first over morals in boxing.

Fights off but nobody will forget what Eddie and Kalle have done, not to mention Benn, Eubank Jr is the only one to come out with any credit, another black eye for boxing but we go again

Someone in the know decided to sabotage the fight and leaked the info.

Hearn is a sickening character. as bad as I've found him somehow he seems to have plumbed new depths here. that statement is utterly vile.

Thanks. Who was BJS signed with then? FW?maverick23 wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 16:10Billy Joe vs Andrade. The contract was VADA testing which is what the state in the US used. The WBO stripped Billy Joe because the fight couldn’t take place there. Interestingly Billy Joe wasn’t banned by the BBBC because they didn’t find a positive test and the substance isn’t on their banned list (which is in-line with WADA).
Slightly different scenario because I’d imagine that if that fight was due to take place in the U.K. it would have happened.

He'll spin things and those with media credentials and general access will lick his boots as usual but he has done way more harm to boxing over the years than good IMO, way more. Most people will realise that too late. I'll never deny that he has helped make a few people rich. He is good at that. He is also a very hard worker and provider for his family. He'll be remembered as a PoS though. That will be his legacy.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑06 Oct 2022, 11:37 Hearn is a sickening character. as bad as I've found him somehow he seems to have plumbed new depths here. that statement is utterly vile.

If he was concerned about getting booed before at shows, he will be getting hammered by the fans if he takes the mic doing post fight interviews in future. I'm not too hard on Kalle because he seems a bit of a dopey happy go lucky character. It's hard to take him seriously.jimmystone wrote: ↑06 Oct 2022, 11:44He'll spin things and those with media credentials and general access will lick his boots as usual but he has done way more harm to boxing over the years than good IMO, way more. Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022
in that statement he actually mentioned that he didn't think pursuing the fight would be 'in the interests of the sport'

i swear some of the stuff Hitler said after Munich was more sincere.
in what world, you insufferable fvcking spiv, does anyone think you have the 'interests of boxing' at heart?
what a complete knt Camp Eddie is. he's back to being called Camp Eddie for good now.

oh indeed, you've said before and its entirely true. i think from the start i was instinctively distrustful of his 'new broom' schtick, I briefly warmed (or more accurately un-cooled) towards him because he kept giving me great fights with my favourite flyweights but fvck it, Bam Rodriguez and Chocolatito can't ever make up for this shitejimmystone wrote: ↑06 Oct 2022, 11:44He'll spin things and those with media credentials and general access will lick his boots as usual but he has done way more harm to boxing over the years than good IMO, way more.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑06 Oct 2022, 11:37 Hearn is a sickening character. as bad as I've found him somehow he seems to have plumbed new depths here. that statement is utterly vile.
