What is the point in a third fight against a guy you have beaten comfortably twice already?

Yes, their first fight was about 10 years ago.
I just can't believe the so-called linear champion and arguably the best HW on the planet is having such difficulty finding opponents that he has to resort to fighting Chisora, again!

Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
I think Chisora is just a stay-busy fight; and hopefully Fury follows it up quickly enough. Although, he's not known for high activity, except in 2018 and prior to 2013.
Schedule-wise, there's almost no one Fury could reasonably fight (including Chisora) prior to the Spring or Summer, given how much recovery time boxers often need. Allow me to illustrate by stating the dates of last / next activity:
Usyk: 08/20/2022
Joshua: 08/20/2022
Wilder: 10/15/2022
Ruiz: 09/04/2022
Whyte: doesn't matter. Fury was his last opponent.
Joyce: 09/24/2022
Ortiz: 09/04/2022
Parker: 09/24/2022
Chisora: 07/09/2022
Pulev: 07/09/2022
Hunter: 12/02/2021
Bakole: 05/14/2022
Sanchez: 10/15/2022
So, if Fury was in a rush to fight as early as this December, his only reasonable options are like Hunter and Bakole (and maybe Chisora, if Chisora is able to turn around in 5 months). Chisora says 5 months is enough recovery time for him. Joshua says 4 months is too soon for him. Fury evidently feels that Chisora could draw some money, since he's British (all-British fights tend to draw good money in England), and that Hunter / Bakole would neither be prestigious, nor draw money.
Hopefully Fury is looking to turn around and fight again in like March or April against Joshua, Usyk, or Joyce.
I'd be inclined to say that Hunter might be more meaningful than Chisora, if not for the fact that Hunter is coming off of a draw with a gatekeeper.

I don't even understand why he'd fight Chisora as a "stay busy" fight. Just fight someone else. Hell I'd rather he fought Charr for f*cks sake.
At least he hasn't already beaten him.....Twice.

yup, ffs chisora 3 is a dreadful fight. the 2nd fight was one of the worst ive ever seen, no need for them to do it yet again. i'd take a f@cking canman like charr over chizzy just for something different. both are awful fights. id rather see them have a dick wrestling match than box each other tbh
Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
Fury will fight Chisora for the third time, then Wilder for the forth one, let's get it on.

Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
Does Fury ever engage in stay busy fights?
He usually has a fight, then right after he says he's retired, then about 24 hours later he'll call out a big name he has no intention of fighting next.
Chisora 3 is just a terrible fight.
I know Del is a fan favourite, but this is a trilogy that nobody has ever asked for.

For all the BS Fury comes out with, the poster can carry on happily with his anti-Fury. Chisora III my arse.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 09:17you're joking, I've seen enough of them to know any thread involving Fury also involves that dude opining repetitively on what an awful man Fury is, I barely post on this forum and even I have noticed the obvious thing in front of my eyesFinkel wrote: ↑04 Oct 2022, 20:15Please could you read them and report back?Counter-puncher wrote: ↑04 Oct 2022, 11:39 just FYI, a search yields 17 pages of results at 20 posts per page. my guess is at least 90% negative towards Fury?
let's factor that down to be conservative, to 70% (VERY conservative)
that would mean you've posted about 240 negative posts about fURY
Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
I just read it is Chisora vs Fury next. Sad. All time low ppv.

100% to all of that.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 22:09 yup, ffs chisora 3 is a dreadful fight. the 2nd fight was one of the worst ive ever seen, no need for them to do it yet again. i'd take a f@cking canman like charr over chizzy just for something different. both are awful fights. id rather see them have a dick wrestling match than box each other tbh
If Fury is so desperate to stay busy, he should spar in the gym and not waste everyone's time with this nonsense
Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
I think it will be 5 rounds and more rounds will end, I don't know if it will be
