There is no need for him to come back and I doubt he does anyway.

I like Billy Joe and would like to see him come out with a win before retiring for good. That being said I would be surprised if he could regain the titles at this point.

His ego will price him out of any meaningful fight - especially a Eubank jr fight.

I wonder where he’d come back. I can’t imagine many would want to pay him decent money for a poor tune up but there are still good fights out there for him.

A big Canelo payday, the loss of an unbeaten record and time out of the ring may impact his ambition now.

Looks like Shalom is trying to sign him up but perhaps reneging on something they had previously agreed to.

Even if Sky have done him wrong, which I doubt considering they gave him the deal in the first place when unproven, you don’t say that to Billy Joe on the phone as you don’t know what’ll happen.

Billy Joe's a stain on British boxing. Covertly recording a phone call is a new low. Hope no one touches him.

Yeah - dickhead thing to do. There are a few people in boxing though that I’d be very careful what I say to and Billy Joe’s one of them.

Certainly looked like he’s burnt one of his bridges.

Yeah I can't imagine many will want to work with him after this, he's just after a big payday

I don’t see Billy Joe generating the purse that he will want to earn from anyone he will box.

Based off of that a promoter is going to have to be willing to lose money on him (or his side of the fight) for some kind of greater gain. Given his scalp isn’t exactly that lucrative I can’t see what fight he gets?

Ryder on a Matchroom show - No.
Canelo or GGG - No.
Smith on Sky - No.
Eubank - No.
And I can’t think of any belt holders at 160 or 168 being bothered enough.

I think lots of promoters will want to work with Billy and lots of fans will be excited to see him come back. He's a really well liked guy!

Ben stuttering and nervous there. OG Frank wouldn’t have been nervous. Ben seemed out of this depth there. Why why why did he bother engaging with him ???
