Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
12 rounds, who wins?
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
Wlad would outpoint the dangerous Ike behind the jab, 1-2 combos and clinching.
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
Ike doesn't belong in the fight.
If he got the opportunity he'd get beat.
If he got the opportunity he'd get beat.
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
Wlad would outbox Ike behind his jabs and right hands to take a decision.
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
Vlad had the height and style to win this but not the chin; Ike, behind on points, stops him.
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
Pre Steward, Ike by KO in about 6 rds. With Steward, Wlad by maybe 118-111.

Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
Meant to elaborate a little more. Pre-Steward Wlad is ahead and landing hard shots till he gets nailed a couple of times in an exchange, goes down maybe twice and probably gets stopped on his feet while being hammered. With Steward, Ike's big punches land on shoulders, arms or are glancing blows, Klitschko ties him up consistently anytime he looks to have an opening while he keeps landing double jabs and single shots and a few combinations. At the end the President is well beaten but doesn't look it.
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
The fact that we didn't get enough of Ike, and the reason we didn't get enough of Ike is why he doesn't even belong in these conversations to me.
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
We've discussed other evil boxers before, i,e, Tony Ayala, Gerald McClellan, Davey Hilton, etc, etc don't know why Ike should be any different.
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
I don't throw Tony Ayala into mythical matchups either. I don't recall Hilton hardly ever coming up, and what exactly made McClellan "Evil" all I know about him is his fights, and the injury that ended his career.
Edwin Valero is one of my favorites to come up with these because I just genuinely believe that virtually every name fighter would've kicked his ass, and I hate it that the fight they were discussing with him and Juan Manuel Marquez never happened because Marquez would've beat the sh*t out of that guy.
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
Should we not discuss a fighter who beat a pregnant woman to the point she had a miscarriage- that was Sugar Ray Robinson. Where are we drawing the line in terms of "evil" behavior ?

I agree where is the line drawn? Monzon killed his spouse. Tyson was convicted of rape.
Where is the line drawn???

as mentioned sugar ray robinson was awful as well
mike tyson was convicted of raping a woman and has been in serious trouble most of his life
liston had armed robbery, assault, and all sorts of sheeyat
absolutely sh!t loads of boxers have priors for beating women or other crimes, it's not really the sport of nice guys. these are hypothetical fights, it's not really that hard, just take the ike who fought bryd and tua and consider how he'd do vs the opponent
Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
Lot of guys here liked Diego Corrales. He was not a nice guy.

Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko

Re: Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Wlad Klitschko
