50-50 bout. Split decision either way and lots of scoring controversy.

Froch for me and via a UD.

He could box-punch and keep it long when he was faced by a proper hard-nut like Pascal or someone schooled like Johnson who was also a block of granite. Wasn't always pretty, but he typically got the result.

Carl did have other ways to win fights and he listened to McCracken, who knew his stuff.

Ward was another kettle of fish however, that was the step too far for Carl.
