How will that work, he has to fight Eubank first.

Contractually he’s obliged to fight CEJ as per rematch clause.

WBC have also placed Smith #1.

Not called any mandatory yet though.

Can Eubank take a step aside or have a different fight THEN force the rematch?

This is a crazy fight, bad style for Liam but I’d never write him off.

Can't Liam fight this bloke first then give soft lad a shot at the title as a voluntary? Would give Eubank more time to recover, maybe he could have a tune up too on the undercard

Smith gotta give Alim a fight, but probably Alim will be better prepared than in his last bout and his power will matter.

Smith is 34 and now a household British name. He’ll prefer fight a big name on Sky like Eubank/Brook/Saunders on Sky PPV rather than go and be the away fighter for crap money at 4 in the morning UK time.

I wouldn’t say he’s a household name. Ask 100 people and probably no one would know him.
I mean there are very few ‘household’ names in boxing. In the U.K. prob only Joshua and Fury.

I meant in British boxing and he can sell out Manchester Arena and do another few hundred thousand buys on PPV. More money than the Janibek fight.

He’s over with casuals. Wouldn’t say household name.

He’s got enough support and he’s been on a run and been putting on a show.

I'd guess he would earn far more for the Eubank rematch

Oh yeh crap! I forgot. I even posted the thread.

Does that mean Smith passed up the opportunity?

He'll be pissed at Boxxer.

Yep.

He is pissed at Boxxer. Made that clear in every interview he did last week.
