step forward with your front foot, and, in the same motion, move your upper body over your front leg in a downward forward motion. your chest is going to come just over your front knee. dont over bend your front knee. now drag up your back foot.

Question about this one.
If it is used as a repetitive movement can it be timed? If you're opponent adjusted well and moved to your right side he could throw punches in a position where he is on your right but where to reach him you have to try to turn into him. I'm not sure if that makes sense. Or am I bringing up something that is really a non issue?

yes. but remember that this motion naturally mimics the same motion of throwing a right hand. and that by using that motion you are continuously ready to counter with your right hand.

or transfer your body weight onto your front leg and counter with your hook.

and that way what you basically become is a moving mouse trap.

yeah thats tough. when a guy goes around your right shoulder theres not a lot you can do. but what you must not do is pivot by pressing down on your front foot and swinging over your back foot thereby turning, because now you're just spinning in the center of the ring.

instead of pressing down on your front foot and swinging over your back foot and pivoting so you can try to re-center a guy, press down on your front foot and step over to your right with your back foot.
