That was why I asked, i didn’t recognise the voice but I thought his input was very insightful, giving the kind of nuances and angles I don’t often hear.Flump wrote: ↑22 Apr 2023, 18:56I tell you what, he was good, some great insight!WestEndRiot wrote: ↑22 Apr 2023, 18:56Sunny. They were 3 or less punches apart in 6 rounds. Definitely a close fight with plenty of rounds going either way.
Based on the stats alone and not assessing the power of each punch, the only decisive rounds (10+ punch differential) were 4 & 5 for Rakhimov then 7 for Cordina plus 2 because of the KD. Rakhimov also had 6 & 9 with a 6+ punch differential.

Fight of the weekend this one.
Babic lasted minutes, Garcia Davis was a bit meh, but Joe Cordina boxed like a champ, and entertained all the way.

Great fight and 2 very tough men.
I had it a draw though. Cordina undoubtedly did more damage and hurt Rakhimov more, but Rakhimov was busier
One of the best fights I have seen for a shile

A high class fight, with top quality punches and movement throughout. Reminded me a bit of Taylor v Prograis in that respect.
As for Sunny Edwards, I really like what he says once you get past that 'innit bruv' affectation in his voice which is so beloved of white kids wearing tech fleeces

Travesty that Barry Jones isn’t used more.
Barker’s ‘OHHHH’ whenever a Matchroom fighter lands a punch does my head in.

I really enjoyed the show last night. Solid undercard and a terrific main event.
Cordina has beaten 2 good fighters now and hopefully he can move into a unification. It’s not the strongest division but may be tricky to get it done given the promotional companies the other guys are with.
Hopefully they can get the momentum going with him.
I’m not fussed by the Barrett fight for him. Think it could be a technical styles clash.

I read the forum, I’m gonna take note of what everyone’s saying. Such as you posting that you don’t like Eddie Hearn or Ben Shaloms trainers. And then saying ‘Darren Barkers a bellend.’ And then ‘Sunny Edwards is a bellend.’ And then ‘Sam Jones is a bellend.’ashall2 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2023, 06:10Yeah mate so jealous that I don’t have a mole.jameswilson wrote: ↑22 Apr 2023, 18:56Do you ever post anything other than jealous sh1t?

Ed really claiming Jordan Thompson is past domestic level…. Why try paint that narrative?
I don’t see the benefit of it…
Watkins clearly should fight the winner of chamberlain vs lawal for the brittish title. Never seen a clearer next fight for someone.
Instead Ed is talking about all the world champs he could chin even though his best win is a guy that’s not top 50….

thompson had a tough enough time with vasil ducar 2 fights ago, he's well off world level atm. watkins is english level, weak british at tops. the chambo-lawal winner will beat him too

Excellent watch this was, thought Cordina edged it but a good, competitive bout. I like the composure of Joe in there, even after a tricky period where he comes under fire he tends to reset and get back to the basics pretty well without becoming too flustered, right hand was very accurate.
