Hello, I am a boxing manager in Vietnam and currently the boxing industry in Vietnam is having a frustration because of the 'new commission' in our country.

In Vietnam, the Vietnam Boxing Federation is the peak national association in the country for the sport of Boxing, the only association manages both pro and amateur (as each sport has only 1 national federation which manages both pro and amateur in the whole country, by law). The formation of the federation required approval from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

However, after we sent our queries about a new 'commission' established in Vietnam which called VBO to Vietnam national Boxing Federation VBF, they have informed us that there have been various organizations, falsely stating that they are endorsed by Vietnam government, or being the professional sanctioning bodies in Vietnam, including Vietnam Boxing Organization (VBO) and Vietnam Boxing Commission (VBC). These organisations are just private companies that have business licences to do boxing business but have no authority to sanction professional boxing. For sanctioning, they are non-legit. These organisations have no affiliations with the national federation nor recognised by them.

We are frustrated because such company recognised/qualified as a commission in our country?
The company is just formed in April 2023 but the fights which they 'sanctioned' were recorded on Boxrec since 2022?
(Fights before the company established ID: 858798, 858801, 865986, 868978, 871153), (Fights after the company established ID: 874375, 877468, 876516).

Not to mention, the president of Vietnam Boxing Organisation - Mr. Song Lim is the promoter of the Legend of Hoan Kiem event, featuring WBA Asia East bout between Dinh Hoang Truong (ID: 879201) vs Gyu Hyun Lee (ID: 793835), which was not sanctioned by VBF nor accepted by Boxrec.
