IDK. It's pretty obvious to me that you nailed it. Craw is a generational fighter. Spence is not. 154 won't be any different except maybe shorter.

You don't think it's a different fight at Light Middleweight 154 ?
He was stunned by Ugas and battered about by Crawford; getting hit by bigger men might have an even more detrimental effect on him.
I completely agree.
Then have a proper clean up and training camp and take the time to right the wrongs and get as close to a 100% as he can.
He's got it in him, with the right people around him he has enough savvy boxing ability to get by Crawford if he wants to.

Crawford is a pot shotter, he's good at it too and hasn't taken a whole bunch of punishment.
He's very experienced and would be difficult to stop.
So I'd go via the boxing route.
Spence has roots in boxing defence [Kell Brook]as well.

No he doesn’t.

Spence needs to come out and hurt TCraw early and beat him down. It is his only hope. He will NEVER have the athletic gifts and boxing savvy that Bud has.

there's always a chance that the perfect punch lands, but most probably those 7 pounds won't make much difference.

they will weigh in the ring pretty much about the same as in the first fight, just making the weight in the last week before the fight will be less excruciating, for both of them.

if crawford can repeat a similar flawless performance it's a real tough mission for spence to change the outcome, but surely he will try.

There is always a chance that the perfect punch lands but that chance is reduced by the quality level of the opponent and we have repeatedly seen how hard it is to nail Crawford.

I don't think Craw was 'flawless' I think he's just that much better than Spence.

I don't want to take anything away from Crawfords win. Me and most others predicted it to be a either a close fight or were slightly leaning toward Spence or Crawford.

Shortly before the fight my prediction started to sway pretty heavily to Crawford. First was at the weigh in. Spence looked dry to the bone and didn't have his normal physique. Don't get me wrong Spence looked in shape, he just didn't look like he did in his previous fights.

Then during the ring walk, I was completely convinced. When I saw the glaze in Spences eyes and how the outside of his eyes were puffy, I knew then that Spence did not have a good weight cut and his body didn't retain the fluids the way it was supposed to when rehydrating.

I think and have always favored Crawford, but I actually do believe 7 lbs. could make a difference in the outcome of the fight. I don't think Spence wins, but the fight could be much more competitive.

It is indisputable that Spence was having the greater trouble making 147lbs.

I'm fairly certain that it is Spence who will gain more going up to 154lbs if that is what Crawford is agreeing to.

So far all we know for sure is that Spence wants to do it again, we don't know at what weight or where or when

I'm fairly certain both men understand that no one wants to see the rematch at 147 again, but according to some sources it's still all down to the winner, Crawford.

But will even 154 be enough for Spence?

Well, that's what the whole boxing world is waiting to find out. They should have done this years ago, and now can't wait to do it again.

We'll see about that.
I'll let the ink dry on Crawford's win and show him the respect, but it looks like we're going straight back in but heavier.
They got a date yet ?
