Quick question.

Once I done the adjustments..

Would you like me to just remove Whyte and move everyone up? Shall we wait til we hear more? Shall we just vote on him?
I would remove Whyte, Ruiz and Ortiz in just one sweep, but I'll be happy with just Whyte and Ortiz gone. Then we can vote 2 more to get in.
Sanchez can fvck off too. martz levle wins should not count towards activity.

These are top 15 guys, so lets throw em an extra factor of 10 and say there opponent has to be top 150 to count as activity.

P.S This does NOT have top 15 implications, but seeing as we are all heavyweight fans here... Tom shwarz vs Dovbyshchenko is a great fight...

a padded record winner vs a tough loser (no disrespect). I like it.

No vote on Whyte. We won’t hear anything new about the tests. He can rejoin the rankings when he wins his next fight drug free.
Same for the inactive guys. Just remove them when the year is over and they don’t have a fight scheduled.
If they have a comeback fight, we should vote on their new position in the rankings.

Well, this thread has people voting on a fight between Anderson (boxrec #15) vs Rudenko (#161)... :maybe:

So, I think it would be a bit harsh to remove Sanchez because the only fight the PBC gave him in the last year was against a tick over opponent, technically he is still active.

Though, I do sympathize with your point. Actually, I said something similar about Hunter when he fought a string of no hopers, but he was kept in based on activity

Upcoming top 100 fights according to Boxrec:
#7 Zhang Vs #8 Joyce
#29 Pero Vs TBA
#34 Kean Vs TBA
#41 Ljungquist Vs #56CW Muller
#47 Barriere Vs TBA
#65 Wright Vs TBA
#68 Forrest Vs #368 Hall Jr
#71 Hysa Vs #242 Sosa
#74 Pettigrew Vs TBA
#78 Veletic Vs #182 Pfeifer
#85 Dawejko Vs #155 Madison
#89 Frank Vs #129 Tamim
#96 Shala Vs #324 Pascual
#99 Hasanovic Vs #354 Damiani

Bleak times once again. We are pretty much relying on matchups between Usyk Vs Fury/Hrgovic, AJ Vs Wilder/Fury, a few of the Top Rank guys against each other towards the end of the year. Would be good to see Pero get a decent opponent but not sure how likely that is.

Also, there's a delay in me updating the thread.

John has disabled URL's (not sure how ling for) but Dag loaded it all with URL's.

Nothing relevant scheduled for a few weeks so shouldn't be too much of a problem. Only thing that would happen before then would be replacing Ruiz, Ortiz and maybe Whyte. Wouldn't the the worst if that was done without URLs I suppose. Everyone will be picking between Ajagba plus two of Chisora, Takam, Gassiev, Dubois, Miller, Huni, Kabayel, Pero, Wallin, Franklin, Wardley. Might be the flimsiest 14 and 15 we've ever hard.

Wardley Vs Adeleye on the Fury/Ngannou card. Winner might be in the mix for 15th.

What a shocking division.

Throw some names at me who deserves to enter.

Whyte is out but can always be voted back in.

Ruiz and Ortiz have had no word on any match..

Wallin at 14 and Chisora at 15 for me.

Other names I've considered but dropped are Wardley, Kabayel, Jalolov, Dubois

Ajagba is a given plus two of (probably roughly in this order for me): Chisora, Takam, Huni, Gassiev, Kossobutskiy, Miller*, Kabayel, Pero, Rozanski, Yoka, Wallin, Wardley, Dubois, Franklin, Jalolov, Clarke.

Having Chisora and Takam that high does seem ridiculous but who else has a better win than Pulev or Yoka in the past year or two while only losing to guys ranked inside the top 10/15? Gassiev it mostly ranked based on his cruiserweight career.

Wilder has 5 weeks to get something scheduled before he gets dropped out. Fury has 3 months if his Ngannou fight is not a pro fight.

I agree Wallin's resume in the recent past is pisspoor, but if we exclude Chisora and Takam, I struggle to find anyone with decent names not already in the top 15. Regarding Chisora and Takam, I believe they are so out of prime that I don't think they rank above him

But what have they done?
If we taking Ruiz for being inactive for 12 months.

His last winning being Ortiz.

Gassiev especially hasn’t done shit in HW.

I guess there's a point that we have come to where a win 18 months ago followed by inactivity is still better than everything some of the more active guys have done. Think we still have to stick to the rule but we are picking between a pretty terrible bunch.

Just realised that Dubois is soon to be ranked 4th in the world by Boxrec. That's got to be up there with the most out of place ranking we've ever seen.

Jalolov should come in at 15.

By the way, Gassiev and Wallin are scheduled to fight on September 30. So the winner of that fight should enter at #14.
