Chris Eubanks jr should be fighting for the wbo belt.not this crapBercli wrote: ↑20 Sep 2023, 14:49The fight will happen and it will sell out. The board will cave in because they are weak, and the fans will come purely for the family rivalry. Personally,if the fight is made at 160lbs Eubank will carry Benn for as long as he feels like it imo

Doubt Connor takes this after struggling to dent a “c grade” 154er.

Benn needs to get paid too, he has spent a fortune over the last year or so.gregregegg wrote: ↑26 Sep 2023, 16:53 Doubt Connor takes this after struggling to dent a “c grade” 154er.

They're prize fighters, they go where the money is.Craighmfc1874 wrote: ↑26 Sep 2023, 16:41 Eubank jr should be fighting real 160 fighters for world titles not this drug cheat
It'd be great to see Eubank in a meaningful fight for the British title vs Bentley or Sheeraz rather than giving talentless little drug cheat Conor an undeserved payday but Chris probably makes ten times the money to fight Conor than he makes for any other fight.
What would you do if you were him
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - December 2023?
How the hell is this PPV??? Conor hasn’t even won a British title.

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - December 2023?
Think its obvious , people will pay to see the bigheaded little twerp ko'ed , i would'nt but i'd certainly stream it , and when he got ko'ed if i had his email adress i'd probably send him a email thanking him , for giving me a top few hrs of entertainment free off charge .

Sure enough after that performance at the weekend there is the inevitable mention of having a different fight in December.

Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr in play for December 23
The wheels are in motion for British rivals Conor ‘The Destroyer’ Benn 22-0 (14) and Chris Eubank Jr 33-3 (24) to fight each other before the year’s end.
Welterweight Benn and middleweight Eubank were set to face each other in a 157-pound catchweight bout one year ago before Benn was forced to withdraw after failing two voluntary doping tests.
Benn was provisionally suspended by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) but the independent National Anti-Doping Panel (NADP) lifted the ban in July. UKAD and the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) are appealing that decision with the 27-year-old Benn remaining unlicenced pending a result.
That hasn’t stopped Benn’s promoter Eddie Hearn from pushing ahead with plans to make the fight against Eubank, 34, with a working date if December 23.
“We have every intention to make it happen,” the Matchroom Boxing boss told BBC Radio 5 live.
“Our side with Conor Benn and the side of Kalle Sauerland and Chris Eubank want to move forward and make that fight.
“We feel that because of the situation with Conor Benn’s suspension being lifted and winning that case that he should be allowed and able to fight in the UK.
“We’re speaking to the British Boxing Board of Control. We think legally there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be allowed to fight in the UK but obviously it’s their decision.”
Benn travelled to the US last month where he was a late addition to the card headlined by Richardson Hitchins vs Jose Zepeda in Orlando, Florida where he outpointed Rodolfo Orozco over 10 on September 23.
Three weeks earlier Eubank earned a revenge win over Liam Smith who he stopped in the 10th round of their rematch in Manchester.
After the win Eubank said he was still interested in facing Benn providing he could get his licence back.
Hearn wants the fight to take place at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, but is happy to find an international host for the bout if the Benn’s licencing issue cannot be sorted out i the UK in time.
“If we are not allowed to do that, we will hold the fight internationally but our preference of course is to bring that big fight to Britain,” Hearn said.
“We also have a rather large heavyweight called Anthony Joshua who’s saying: ‘Look, if I’m not fighting Deontay Wilder in January, I would quite like to fight in December as well.’ So we’re trying to work it all out but quite frankly I think it’s very unlikely that we don’t have a show on 23 December.
“Is it going to feature all of them, is it going to feature one of them? I don’t know, but there’s a huge desire from both camps of Benn/Eubank to make that fight for 23 December.”

I'll eat my favourite fedora if Joshua is on the undercard of Eubank-Benn.
Admittedly, I don't own one, but still.

A possible Cardiff venue
Guess it makes sense given time of year and option of closing off the worse of the potential weather.

It says if there are licensing issues they will take it somewhere else internationally.

It's getting made, it's worth too much money, where can they earn that fighting someone else?Frostieballs wrote: ↑10 Oct 2023, 07:28It says if there are licensing issues they will take it somewhere else internationally.

Of course. The same reason Benn was always going to ‘clear’ his nameCoco wrote: ↑10 Oct 2023, 08:52It's getting made, it's worth too much money, where can they earn that fighting someone else?Frostieballs wrote: ↑10 Oct 2023, 07:28It says if there are licensing issues they will take it somewhere else internationally.

Sunny Edwards would be gutted if this card came together. As it is, even the diehards will probably need a couple of reminders that his big fight is happening the week before.
Sounds like pure fantasy to me anyway.

Benn shouldn’t be anywhere near a boxing ring

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - December 2023?
its a horrible scenario for many boxing fans who dont want benn to be allowed back so easily but many dont want to see eubanks getting a big fight either given his poor resume and attitude to going after titles .
People want to see benn get sparked but this just builds eubanks .. same the other way around .
I would like to say my principles will stop me from watching it but .........
Would I pay for it ? not a even a useless Iranian Rial !
