What is the 'take home cheque' from a 200 million dollars pay day?

Manager/promotor .. Bob and fWank will no doubt be on a percentage of at least 25% between them.

Trainer will unlikely be on percentage, but on a set fee, so similar to training camp costs I recon.

Tax/NI 60%

£40-45 million??

Or gets cut or injured ?
That's the risk IMO he is not getting beat that would be a 1000/1 shot but he could quite easily catch an elbow on the eyebrow, especially of a fella who is used to being allowed to use them.

would work out as a very expensive cut. Although from Francis' padwork he should not be too worried about him getting anywhere close to catching Tyson with anything

Fair play - that's so much funnier than your local pub comment - it must take you hours to come up with such clever witty comments mate. I'm sure you could have been as successful as comedy script writing as you were at professional boxing.
Perhaps you should be eating a little humble pie rather than having cowardly pops online at someone brave enough to fight for a living.
The shoes I walk in are damn comfortable, boxing was good to me.

Maybe others less so.....

It does sound like Fury vs Uysk is happening. GAD thinks it will be January. What an amazing event that will be: the build up, fight week, arriving in the arena, seeing them in the ring together at the same time.

I think most on here have commented that they would expect Fury to win - so I don`t think there would be that many here with egg on their faces.

But if Usyk wins handily ... oh wow; pretty sure certain people on here will be starting new accounts to post under.

Usyk is more focused, he'll want it more and more than anything else, he's the better boxer.

Plus. Does Fury look in the kind of shape he needs to be in to fight Usyk in 3 months?

I would agree that he's not average, but skills wise, he's nowhere near Usyk.

Yeh but you could'nt call him great could you , at least not with his resume , Suppose that leaves good , but how good the opposition is poor , so average i think is a fair assement ,, maybee average , with a little bit of good thrown in , if your being generous , course could all change if his resume does ,

And i'll believe its gonna happen if and when you see him in camp WITH A TRAINER

Average is an absolutely comical assessment of Fury but you are entitled to your opinion.

Tep your right were all entitled to an opinion , So whats yours how would you rate him , obviosly not average , so would it be good , or great .

Now bear in mind to rate someone you have to compare them , so lets compare him against the ones who truly were , good to great , go back a couple decades ,

, Ali , Frazer , Norton , Foreman , Lewis , Bowe , Hollyfield ,and i suppose Mike Tyson , all good to great , and which of these , does he beat ,, suppose you could come up with a shop worn , over the hill on his way out way past his prime Klitchko , but even then he needed the hogs meat and refused a rematch , then theres Wilder , the most protected resume in the history of heavyweight boxing , who else had more easy wins than him , with Fury being his one and only test.

Now if he gets a move on and fights Ruiz , AJ , Usyk and now Zang , beats them, all i will put him into the GOOD catergory , not great , but Very Good ,, and i mean actually fight them and beat them , not just call them dossers and win the name calling

Tysons resume is filled with fighters he has'nt fought ,In a piss poor era . that makes him AVERAGE

There have been 170 votes made on the poll - can you think of even 10 posters here who have said outright Usyk beats Fury handily? Because those who have said so would be the ones with egg on their faces .. my guess is you won't find even 5 people here predicting Usyk win handily.

My own opinion.
Previously I thought Fury wins handily.
That has began to change as Fury has got fatter and fought less.
Now; if the referee prevents Fury spoiling and making it a wrestling match, I feel it's a very close fight .. where I'd lean towards Usyk based on his better skills and better level of opposition in preparation.

Good, perhaps great in this era and good in most other eras also. Certainly not average and very few would class Fury that way.
