BoxRec ghosted a major fight - Why ?
BoxRec ghosted a major fight - Why ?
Why did BoxRec ignore the card featuring Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov vs Eduardo Nunez the other day ?
The card was never listed and the results are not in on their respective records.
Can you explain why ?

Shall we ever get the answer? What are they hiding!

I'm still trying to figure out why fighters competing at "Bridgerweight" are not ranked... They would be OK to stick at Heavy.. No?

I think they should just record Bridgerweight contests as Heavyweight fights until the sports promoters come to their senses, and if they never do. Well..continue to call it a Heavyweight fight anyway because that's what it is.
Re: BoxRec ghosted a major fight - Why ?
It seems to be a tradition here... every so often, some type of squirrelly decision causes a fight to be ignored, or marked as non-sanctioned... or a boxer to be hidden from the rankings... certain words on the forum to be auto-replaced, etc.. etc..
The Bridgerweight thing seems baffling... I mean, there have been "Super Cruiserweight" belts in the past.. haven't there? I don't recall those boxers lingering in some kind of unranked purgatory...
This fight not being posted is quite strange also... have to think there is some political reasoning, or some kind of difference of opinion related to the sanctioning of the event?
