02:42 Patterson's punch has started the blood running from the gash under Berlenbach's right eye again. 8:8
02:42 * The two fighters are circling one another. Patterson looks like he's trying to target the bleeding that has become much more noticeable on the face of Paul Berlenbach. The referee has also taken a sudden interest in the claret flowing down the face of Berlenbach and we're going to get a temporary - at least we hope it will be - halt in the action. The referee has called time and wants the doc at ringside to take a close look at Berlenbach's injury. Fortunately, none of the bleeding is above the fighter's eyes or matters would be much more serious. 8:8
02:42 * The doctor is peering at the wound and he's shrugged his shoulders and he's shaking his head - is that a good thing or bad? Well, it's good from Berlenbach's perspective and the cheer that arises from the crowd tells us all we need to know: there's going to be more fisticuffs in just a moment. Obviously, the damage isn't that bad and Berlenbach and Patterson await the signal from the referee to commence firing. The fight resumes here in Round 9. 8:8
02:55 Patterson moves into the far left corner. 8:8
02:59 Berlenbach misses with the jab. He lets go with a left and that fails to find its mark, too. 8:8

Good start for Knight, but he faded soon after that.

Barkley vs Erdei was a nice little read.

Big win for Loughran on a really close fight. With the fight read and looking at the stats, seemed like a fight right up his alley. I think he was the rightful winner, but not y much though. Great fight and victory.

Barkley - Erdei was a great read and a proper barn burner. Also thought Iran did enough there to pick up the W, just.

Langford was too strong for Knight, but Joe did better than I thought, to be honest. Put up a decent show.

Patterson v Berlenbach was a fair draw but was favouring Floyd in that one. A bit disappointed in Floyd (like Tunney), this season.

Loughran gets a great and deserved win over the formidable Charles. Tommy is more than holding his own this season and is pulling off some great wins. Congratulations.

:TU:

I had Loughran last 175 season and lost a good amount of close decisions, a few that seemed where he was the obvious winner. This season was unfinished business for him and so far it is working out well.
